Location was great! Please get a new hot tub!

Loved the location, house was so cozy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was an issue…they tried to get someone to service it, but it was still cold in our last night. Besides that (which is huge for us) we would stay again.

The property was clean, but we had to wait three hours past check-in, I assume due to not having enough staff to clean. The host made that right by allowing us to check out a little later. The host responded quickly by text or email and was very friendly. We did all of our cooking at the cabin except for the first night. There are adequate kitchen necessities for cooking and the Blackstone was amazing. There was a lack of kitchen towels/wash clothes for drying your hands, wiping the counters, or even for the larger dishes that had to be hand washed. We had to buy a large pack of paper towels for this. The property was exactly as described and was quite comfortable. Our family really enjoyed the hot tub each night along with the fire pit. There was plenty of seating inside and out for eating and playing games. The location was close to town and the lake. We had daily visits from some friendly deer that walk right through the property. This was a great getaway for our family.

Great!

This was a great experience. We brought our foreign exchange student from Germany to stay in McCall and this was the perfect place to stay, had plenty of room to sleep for my husband, myself and my children we got to experience a fire with roasting marshmallows, and he definitely loved the hot tub.

Great home for larger groups with so many amenities.

We really enjoyed this home and its set up. We brought our 2 teens and a few of their cousins for a snowboard trip. The kitchen was well stocked far more then i expected. The loft space and large collection of board games kept them busy when we werent on the mountain. Only issues we had was i wish their were more towels. With a large group and the hot tub i felt like i was consetantly cleaning towles and a few areas needed addressing when it came to cleaning. Window seals had some bugs and the air return was heavily dusty. But know of this hendered are stay and i would definitely stay here again.

Nice home. Near busy road. Hot tub was broken

Overall the house was fine. It is really nice inside and out. The beds and pillows were OK. There are a lot of extra linens and pillows which was nice. The kitchen is stocked with the basics which made cooking pretty easy. Our check in process was easy and smooth. Upon arrival we discovered that the hot tub was out of order, which really disappointed us because that was a big reason for choosing this house. We reached out to management and someone came out the next day and was unable to fix it. So that was a bummer to not have hot tub access. Also upon arrival we discovered the dishwasher was full and had to be unloaded… that was upsetting because I didn’t expect to do other peoples dishes on vacation. The house is on the corner of a pretty busy road, so consider that if you have small children. Good, clean house for families.

Thank you for visiting, Gabrielle. We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit. We are sorry that you weren't able to use the hot tub during your stay. We have finally received a part that was ordered and it has been fully repaired. We appreciate your patience in having to unload the dishwasher. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again very soon.

Disappointing

yard is neglected and unusable. House was spotless, with ample linens, beach towels, and toiletries. House maintenance is neglected- no outlets in the bathrooms worked, half the outlets in the kitchen didn't work, the ice maker didn't work, the front door lock only worked 30% of the time, the varnish is peeling off the dining room table, the laundry room light is so dim we had to use flashlights, and the light over the stove didn't work either. The house comes with kayaks and paddle boards which were used and appreciated. The two different visits from the very good contractor were unable to fix the ice maker or laundry room light. He did get the outlets working.Sara, the Vacasa contact, was friendly, prompt, and helpful, and none of this was her fault. The homeowner has to step up and address all the neglect in this house.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced with the yard and the various maintenance issues during your stay. We understand how frustrating it must have been to encounter non-working outlets, the ice maker, front door lock, peeling varnish, and lighting problems, and we appreciate your patience throughout. We are glad to hear that our home itself was spotless and well-stocked with linens and toiletries, and that our Vacasa contact was helpful in assisting you. We are actively urging the local team to prioritize these maintenance matters to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for future guests. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve, and we sincerely appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. Thank you again for your understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a seamless stay in the future.
