This quaint cabin nestled in the woods is an off grid experience. Inside, guests find a comfortable double bed for the adults and a loft with a cot and room for more sleeping bags. Step outside and enjoy the calm surroundings that make this spot truly special. Whether you’re here to relax or explore, this awesome cabin provides the adventurer with pure nature.
You will have lights supplied by a solar panel. There is an extra cigarette lighter plug for accessories. When nature calls, slip out to the outhouse for your duty. There is no running water. There is a picnic table and fire pit for outdoor cooking.
Keep warm by the wood burning stove. There is also a gas burner for making coffee the old fashioned way.
You’ll need to hike in on the trail or make arrangements for the owner to transport your gear with a side by side if the ground is dry.
Hiking, exploring, and a fun creek to play in will keep the kids entertained.
Lake Shelbyville has a boat ramp 1/2 mile down the road. Bring your paddle boards to launch in a quiet cove of the lake. This is perfect for the archery deer hunter or someone wanting to unplug and unwind.
We look forward to hosting you and will leave a case of water onsite for you.
