This is an older home that could use a work. Upon arrival we saw the yard needed to be mowed. Once inside while there was a tv in each room as advertised the living room tv could not be logged in to a station. We contacted the host and the host responded with several things we could do to make the operational. None of those suggestions worked. The host husband responded with a suggestion that also did not work. That first night we were unable to watch the living room tv. The next day while we were out we were notified by the host the issue had been corrected. When went into the bathroom there were three used towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I once again notified the host and was informed the cleaning person had a family member that had an emergency and had to leave. I feel in that occurrence the host should have gone to the home to ensure the home was ready for paid guests. In the basement where there laundry area id the steep wood stairs do not have hand rails on both sides for safety and security. Although there were several places for light bulbs in the laundry area there was only one string to pulll for light and it was on the furthest side of the laundry room making guest have to navigate in the dark to get to it. There was a CVS bag in the bathroom trash basket instead of a proper trash bag. The front porch area needs work. The electical outlets and air vents need to be repaired
