Great family getaway!

This property is AMAZING & such a fun place to share with family. The only thing that we would’ve liked was if it was closer to other places. We felt like we were constantly on the road to somewhere, but the property itself was perfect!

Quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle

Beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a quiet getaway when you want to focus on your time together, while still being close enough to tourist sights and experiences. Lovely property, well equipped, with a top notch pool/spa and outdoor living area.

Great Family Home

We had a great experience here. Plenty of space for the entire family. Mini-resort vibes. The location is quite remote, but not entirely far from local stores (approx 20 mins away). Would recommend for a getaway not too far away from the city!

We stayed in town for an expo, for a few days. Great space, love the hot tub. Beds were comfy. Water in shower could be hotter. Game room is great in the detached garage. Communication via Text message was a plus, they responded quickly.

Wow

This property is breathtaking. Everything from the inside to the outside is absolutely perfect. It’s such a hidden gem and away from everything. This is definitely a place you would want to stay at if you want a mini get a way. I went with a total of 14 friends and not once did it ever feel crowded. You will not regret this rental.

Great Home

This house is so big and has so much to do. For it being so secluded, it is perfect for star gazing and relaxing by the pool. We got enough groceries for the week and didn’t move the cars till we left. Everything you need for a fun time is provided, like board games, a game room in the garage and smart tv to watch anything. This was my second time visiting this home and I would come back again

A Remote Weekend Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hosted a birthday for my boyfriend one weekend in June. Going in, we knew the destination was remote so we made sure to do all our grocery shopping ahead of time. We also enjoyed that we didn’t have to worry about neighbors nearby. Overall, we had an amazing stay at this location. Would definitely recommend for large gatherings!

Fabulous Trip to the Desert!

We loved our time in the desert! The property was perfect for us! We had three families with kids ranging from 17-8 and there was something for everyone to do! We never left the property because there was so much to do from ping pong to swimming, playing games to making s’mores around the fire. It was perfect. Thank you to the management company who quickly fixed two issues we had with the ice maker and coffee pot. They were very attentive. My only suggestion would be to have additional dishes and silverware. We had to do quite a bit of dish washing so we had enough for each meal and it would have been helpful to have extras.

Pool was infest with bugs and was unuseable!

I will first start off with the house was bueautiful, the area was nice, the house was clean, and the games were agreat touch! However the Pool on the other hand was infested with bugs and was not usable! I contacted Vacasa they stated that the could do anything about it and that they could not even give me a discount because it was a natural phenomenon and the were not responsible! Overall I was very disapointed that I rented a house for my wife to enjoy her 50th birthday with all our children and grand children and we couldnt even use the pool in the 110 degree weather.

Expected better for the money

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So we came here during Coachella and of course paid Coachella prices. For the amount of money we paid, we expected towels, blankets, sheets for at minimum 16 people (which is what we booked for) and there were not enough of any! I think there was only 8 sets of bath towels, plenty of pool towels (which is funny because when I emailed them asking if they had pool towels they responded and said they do not provide pool towels, so everyone had brought their own, but it is actually bath towels the don't have enough of), on top of that the pull out bed sheets were all stained, and there was definitely not enough sheets or blankets for the pull out beds/ futons. They also only provided 1 set of soaps per bathroom and that is supposed to last 16 people all weekend? Why are you charging us so much if you can't even provide the basic amenities? This was by far the most expensive Airbnb I've ever stayed in and also the one that provided the least.
Response from VrboOwner on 21 June 2023
Hi Sonia, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback, and we’re so sorry to hear your experience with us was not as great as it should have been. We strive to offer impeccable customer service before, during, and after your stay. We do see you contacted us for assistance with the linens. You respectfully asked that no one enter the home during your stay and it looks like our team was able to direct you to the extra sheets and blankets. Please know that we stock each home with a starter supply of basic items. It is not designed to be an unlimited supply but, rather, to get a typical reservation through a weekend or get folks started so that they can enjoy their arrival days, take inventory, and pick up whatever else is needed to get them through the rest of their trip. If there is anything else we can do for you, please reach out anytime and let us know.

Vacation at Hotwell Painted Hills

We got there on Oct. 5 late, and after a long day of travel we couldn't wait to enjoy the place that we rent and suppose to be stress free. When we entered, the house looked clean, but when we tried to use the dishes – were dirty in the cabinets, two of the plates were glued together needed to let them soak in water for a while, and some other small problems with one of the shelves. Two of the beds had stain on the sheets and we had to wash them; one of the hammock was broken (the next day somebody came and take it off because we didn't want the kids to get hurt); the game room was messy; neighbor's dog was barking in front of our gate one evening, and it took us a while to get the food we ordered. The scariest thing was when the next morning we had breakfast and two of the stove knobs were not working properly and finding out just when I had to go back in the house to take something from the kitchen and was smelling gas. After so many rules that we have to read and agree with, I would think the problem with the stove will be the first one that we should be informed for everyone's SAFETY, we could blow up the house! When I informed the person who was on call from Vacasa the answer was that the owner is awareThat is a problem that you have to take care immediately! The 2 knobs were on when supposed to be off. We enjoyed the pool and the house is beautiful. We left the house sparkles, dishes done, towels washed, garbage out...Very unhappy with the cleaning company.

Thank you for sharing your experience, we're pleased that you thought our home was beautiful and that you especially enjoyed the pool! That said, we apologize for the issues you encountered that kept you from fully enjoying your stay and we shared your comments with the local manager. They assured us that housekeeping has been addressed and they shared your feedback about the stove knobs with the homeowner. Our home is located in the desert, surrounded by large properties, some being ranches but we apologize for any issue you encountered with a neighbor's dog barking one evening and for any inconvenience regarding food delivery. We appreciate your feedback as we view it as an opportunity to improve and we hope to have the chance to better impress you on your next getaway.
