La Quinta stay
The location is within reach of everything you need. Could not believe how quiet the area was. Grounds were very well kept up.

close to old town
We enjoyed our stay because of the proximity to all the shops and restaurants in the old town of La Quinta. We could walk around to the different events in town, and at the parks in the area. Enjoyed the unit, and its ammenities.
My husband and I were in town for our son’s college golf tournament. When staying in La Quinta, we always try to stay in this small community of condos. We have stayed in a number of units and have always had a great experience. This unit was no exception. Everything was as described, it was clean, comfy, and cozy. A perfect home away from home. I would highly recommend!

Great location …….but……,
Just steps from lovely Old Town La Quinta with interesting restaurants and shops. A wonderful pool and spa. The unit is very comfortable but rather dark. Hard to shave or apply makeup in the bathroom due to the limited lighting. We knew this unit was on the second floor, but the 20 steps is a little excessive. Overall a great experience.

Good experience, but...
The property was a lovely place, clean and tidy. Had all the necessary amenities for a lovely weekend. The only cons was that I was given the wrong e-code for the door and took me about 45 minutes in 115 degree weather to get somebody to let me in. Also the jacuzzi didn't work, although we had the pool all to ourselves for the entirety of the stay. Overall good place to stay off you want some peace and quiet.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Never again
Check in was miserable -- had to make a number of calls before I finally received the codes to access the unit. Very dated - only a single uncomfortable couch to sit on - stools on the kitchen counter were very cheap and not suitable to sit on. Bed was ok. Needs repair work - door seal on main door - bathroom door latch - broken tiles in the kitchen - cracks in the bathroom. Could be a nice unit if it had some decent funiture that didn't appear to come from Goodwill. The 10 digit code to access the unit was a major pain - a key would have been great. Location was good - near oldtown La Quinta.

Terrible Experience3
We spent 3 hours driving through traffic from LA area to arrive at the rental. The lock did not work. We could not open the door. We texted, called and waited for assistance for an hour outdoors in 100+ heat at 9 pm at night. There was no help to be had. We turned around and drove home. This was supposed to be our anniversary celebration. We were very disappointed in the awful customer service.

Hi Randi,
We are so sorry to hear you were not able to spend some time at our home. Our records indicate that we attempted to reach you several times on the night of your check-in, but we were not able to get through. Regardless, did not want this to be your experience with us and we appreciate you accepting the compensation we felt it necessary to provide since you did not get to stay. Please know that we have since replaced the door handle that was causing trouble.
We hope to have the chance to host you in the future.

location was great. old la quinta with restaurants and farmers market were a short walk away. For cycling, it was easy to connect to good road routes. The kitchen had the basics but was really lacking if you wanted to actually cook. Pots, pans and cutlery are as cheap as they come. Bonus - I think I found the world's dullest kitchen knife! Pool and hot tub were nice, with a good aspect for sunning. Warning to not wear a good bathing suit in the hot tub because my GF's expensice suit was RUINED by chemicals. Also, there is a small book of rules to follow which was annoying. Parking was adequate for a large truck but I think it was a slow time of year. Seems to be plenty of surplus parking nearby. Part of the negative review is for Vacasa who completely dropped the ball when I tried to extend my stay. I reached a voicemail and no one called me back. While waiting for call back, the late checkout option vanished, which would have been a second-best option. Also, be prepared for an avalanche of vacasa emails and other communication even after unsubscribing. Hoping they go away after filling out survey
