This house was a lovely place to spend 4 weeks. It is very clean. The beds are super comfy. Lots of towels. The kitchen is very well appointed and we cooked many meals in it. The outside grill worked well. The location is pretty private and quiet and the view is lovely! I highly recommend this home.
This beautiful, clean home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the outdoor patio and fire pit. The views were amazing!

Quiet, Comfortable, Excellent Views!
The home is very comfortable. It’s very close to Sabino Canyon and the views of the Catalina Mountains from the back patio are exceptional. Also exceptional from the back patio are the nightly sunset views!
Spacious with tall ceilings, comfortable, complete kitchen to cook meals, had everything we needed. Very convenient to Saguaro NP and Mt. Lemmon. Nice outdoor seating area and we even spotted a roadrunner and coyote in the back yard – insert your Wile E. Coyote jokes here!
Everything seemed new. Loved this house. Perfect for us and our inlaws. Only suggestions...add a hanging rack in master bedroom and also provide an iron and ironing board.

We would stay at this property again.
This is the second time we rented this house. Thank you for adding a piece of furniture in masterbedroom for hanging clothing.

Very private beautiful retreat
We so enjoyed staying in this lovely home. Everything is so new and well appointed. The location is very private and even featured backyard wildlife viewings which were a fun surprise. This was a beautiful home and we loved every second there. Highly recommend for your stay in Tucson. Also very family friendly with plastic dishes available, easy childproofing decor, and a park just minutes away.

Great house!
The check in process was very easy. Upon arrival the house was immaculate. The bedrooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The washing machine worked well too. We would recommend this place and will be staying here again!
Overall a great place to stay!
Our group enjoyed the porch so much! From a moonrise at 5 am to sunrises and sunsets, it was a wonderful respite from all of our daily outings throughout Phoenix. We also enjoyed the fire pit and stargazing! The kitchen was well-equipped. We cooked several nights, including steaks on the grill!

Great rental
Visited Tucson to check out Univ of Arizona. This house is not close to campus but was an easy drive and quiet. The home was cozy and clean, beds were comfortable and perfect for our short stay. Only complaint, the towels are far from soft.
The home and surrounding was stunning. The home was very well equipped with everything we needed. I have nothing bad to say about the whole experience. I booked this through VRBO but it was under another property management called Vacasa and I had to download another app for that. I tried contacting Vacasa via the VRBO messages but they never got back to me that way so I called the Vacasa number. It was a little confusing at check out what Vacasa wanted us to do and I had to reach out to them.

Beautiful house in a lovely spot. Barebones essentials only
The house is very nice, beautiful concrete floor, spacious, nice outside sitting area with a lovely view of the mountains. Perfect location for cycling up Mount Lemmon. A large pack of coyotes walked through the property twice which was so great to see up close. This house has only the most basic general amenities of any vacation rental. Eg: No coffee filters. No placemats. Most basic supplies only. I was surprised there was dishwasher and laundry detergent. The livingroom TV stopped working on the first day and it was not replaced during our stay which was unfortunate. Great house, OK amenities.

Response from VrboOwner on 24 November 2023
Hi, Warwick, thank you for your feedback. While we are happy you were able to enjoy the views at this property, we are deeply saddened to hear of your experience. While the kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to prepare meals, food and other pantry items like coffee and tea are not typically stocked in the home. We encourage guests to plan if they anticipate needing additional items during their stay. We will continue to work with both our local staff and homeowner to make improvements to this home, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful getaway in the future!

Over priced fees
The fees and service charges were much higher than normal VRBO rentals. I emailed and questioned this but I never received a response from the owner. I guess they or we are paying for a secondary company. That’s why I never received an answer from the owner.
The cleaning service was still there when we showed up at check in time we sat outside and waited.
Walnut Tree house is very nice, functional, comfortable, new with a practical floor plan, large kitchen and well located for access to local hiking. The bathrooms are very functional and comfortable. All appliances are new and in great working order and the housekeeping staff did a great job. We enjoyed our stay in this quiet area with friendly neighbors and visiting local wildlife. We stayed about 5 weeks and noticed that the house is mostly meant for shorter stays and is excellent for that purpose. For instance: The house can accommodate 6 for sleeping, and there is plenty of room but the dining table only has 4 chairs; upon first entering you'll notice there is nowhere to hang your jacket, hat, etc and nowhere for keys as in actually lived in homes; there is no closet access in the master bedroom; a laundry basket for holding your clothes between washing and drying would be nice; the kitchen could use a blender, coffee grinder, baking dishes for brownies, pies, cakes and cupcakes rather than just baking sheets and maybe a salad spinner; a place to dine with table and chairs outside would be nice. We found the management company to be extremely resistant to any suggestions along these lines though after a couple of weeks they did improve the garbage handling situation. If planning to stay here my advice is to very carefully look at the virtual tour video and the list of amenities. Do not assume anything and be sure to bring or buy(as we did) whatever items are important to you. We would like to stay here again, but not right away. I'll be keeping my eye on it and waiting for it to "mature" like a fine wine or cheese.
