Amazing City And Mountain Views From The Foothills Of The Catalinas

Fully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Santa Fe Style hillside casita, with incredible views of the mountains and the city of Tucson. The guesthouse is fully furnished, including a clothes washer and dryer, and is located in the foothills of the Catalinas, at the base of Mount Lemmon. Our guesthouse is located on a three acre property, is surrounded by Saguaros, Ocotillo, and desert wildlife, and has a private patio with a private hot tub.

Arizona National is the closest golf course and is only a 5-10 minute drive from our casita. The closest shopping center is 5 miles (10 minutes) away, according to Google Maps. The drive up to Mount Lemmon starts only minutes away and leads to hiking, cycling, mountain biking, camping, fishing, scenic overlooks, and skiing (depending upon the season and the weather). By car, downtown Tucson is 36 minutes away, and The University of Arizona is 29 minutes away (both according to Google Maps).

The guesthouse is designed to accommodate up to 2 people using the king size bed, but we may be able to accommodate a couple with a small child, as well. Please contact us about this situation ahead of any requests for booking.

Great place to stay in the Tanque Verde area at the base of the Catalina Mountains. Lots to do -- Zoo, Arboretum, Mission, Copper Corridor, Mt Lemmon, both National and local parks to explore nearby. Lots of places to eat and a great coffee shop nearby too. Accommodations were perfect, and certainly allowed for a relaxing stay with nice views. Highly recommend!

We have stayed in this casita multiple times. That should tell you everything you need to know. We are golfers. The location is great for many courses north of downtown, and the hot tub is sooo relaxing afterward. Michael and Alexandra are wonderful hosts. We are already scheduled for next year. Convienient washer and dryer, kitchen is well stocked with dishware, silverware, pots/pans, utensils, etc. There is a toaster oven and hot plate, it would be nice to have a small stove/oven but we made due and made several dinners while we were there.

Michael and Alejandra were the most welcoming hosts. The casita was perfect for our stay in Tucson. We hiked everyday, soaked our tired muscles in the beautiful hot tub and enjoyed every sunset from the gorgeous patio. Couldn't have been better.

Best rental ever! Friendly host, well equipped kitchen, stunning views, and FANTASTIC access to trails. Traveled to Tucson for the National Park but the Saguaros in the neighborhood and surrounding area of this rental were arguably more beautiful and plentiful. We love everything about this charming and comfortable casita. It is so peaceful and pretty, and the views of the city at night are quite remarkable. Our hosts were gracious and friendly, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed but also giving us plenty of privacy. We had a wonderful week exploring Tucson and the surrounding area. We enjoyed coming back to the casita and relaxing in the hot tub or soaking up the sun on the back patio. The kitchen was well-stocked, the king size bed felt great, and my husband especially appreciated the fabulous walk-in shower with beautiful tiling. Thank you so much! We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Wonderful vacation.

We are golfers. We can access many golf courses, and enjoy the hot tub after a round. Nearby Safeway and many restaurants. We’ve stayed five times. Will come back again if we can.
