The little cottage was perfect for me. The bed was great!!!! Wanted to bring it home with me. I can’t complain about anything. I enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and by the beach. I loved seeing the little ducks that visited my porch. Easy check in and check out. Would I stay again? Sure!!
This is a well-cared for older property. It reminded me of cottages our family rented on Tawas Bay when I was a child. I rented the one bedroom cottage that was perfect just for me, but it would be a bit tight with one other person. However, it was so very clean, inside and out. Outside, the furniture was in very good condition and comfortable, the hanging plants are gorgeous and the beach is well groomed. The most delightful surprise was the quality linens. No thin sheets and towels here. The duvet felt fresh, like sleeping under a cloud. The towels are exactly what you would stock in your own home. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with nice items, the refrigerator/freezer, cabinets and drawers were very clean. I would definitely stay again as this was such a great value as a solo traveler; management responded quickly and the property is central to everywhere in the Traverse City area.
