Thanks for the kind review. We’re so glad you enjoyed the charm of the home, its modern feel, and the peaceful stay. Our housekeeping team takes pride in their cleanliness so that is wonderful to hear. Happy to know the location made it easy for you to enjoy great food and shopping nearby. We’d be delighted to welcome you back again soon.
This is the perfect place for your downtown stay! The unit was super clean and very well decorated! The location was perfect walking distance to restaurants, bars and attractions. We'll definitely be back!
The apartment was beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, very spacious and well equipped. Easy access to the touristy areas of Charleston and just far enough away to not have to put up with the heavy traffic and associated noise.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Palmetto House. The location is perfect to be able to walk to numerous restaurants and shops. We loved the beds! They were very comfortable. The house has been beautifully renovated. The only thing we missed was not having a television in the bedrooms. We had to watch on our iPad or laptop, but that wouldn't keep us from staying at the Palmetto House again.
This was a great place to stay while we experienced Charleston for a few days. The property manager was extremely responsive to any questions or needs, and the apartment was quite nice. First class!
We loved our stay on Spring Street. The two bedroom unit was just perfect for us and so close to all of our favorite things to do in Charleston, which is to eat and shop! The house was clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. The communication between Richard and us was within minutes of me asking a question. We even left some things behind and they quickly found it and mailed it to us. Thank you for a wonderful day!
This our first trip to Charleston and we could not have picked a better location. Just a few blocks off of King street where you can shop and eat for days! This nice little main floor apartment is quintessentially Charleston! We had plenty of room and the off street parking is a nice bonus. The Pink Cactus is right across the street and was a perfect way to end the night with some chips and guac and a margarita. There’s a bagel shop a few blocks down as well a corner convenient store. We would stay here again.
My wife and I stayed here over a long weekend in June 2025. The unit was very attractive and historical. It was generally in great shape, but there were a couple of annoyances that were very quickly responded to by management…no biggie. The location was good, located near some great restaurants (something for every taste and budget), and only 5-10 minutes to King St. That said, we found ourselves most often about a 30-minute walk to Downtown. It was a very easy walk, but a bit “warm” in June…no biggie. If you find yourself in Charleston, this would be a great location to check out.
