Flexible space--Queen bedroom with ample storage, full-size bed in unique second-level loft, leather sofa with easily convertible arms and back to make a twin bed, all bed linens provided

Outdoor perks--Hose and shower for rinsing off, comfortable front porch seating area, provided beach chairs, beach bag, small cooler and beach towels, free assigned parking spot just diagonal from the cottage entrance

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

*Please pick up and leave as tidy as you found *Leave thermostat at 75 degrees

*Place used towels and bedding in laundry baskets

*Make sure storage key is on hook at front door and all parking tags are brought inside *Lock both exterior doors via center keypad button

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please keep noise to a minimum. City of IRB enforces quiet hours 10pm-7am. Treat this cottage, the neighbors and their property all with respect.

No smoking of any kind inside or outside the property. No fires allowed inside or out. No additional guests allowed unless pre-approved by Diane.

Observe hurricane evacuation orders, be aware of rip currents, protect sea turtles—do not disturb fenced nests and always fill holes made @ the beach

This little beach bungalow was the best part of our trip. Only steps away from the beach, we loved being able to wake up and step right out into the ocean. My daughter adored the little bed in the loft above the main bedroom, but she did have a bit of a learning curve with the steep stair up to it. She figured it out within the day so it was not a problem at all. Everything you could need was there and the stores that had what else we needed were very close by, including a walmart! We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone who asked.

The convenience for getting right to the beach is wonderful and as you point out, an added bonus is that it's also close to other places that you might need/want to go. We found this neighborhood highly desirable as our getaway due to its dual nature. It offers the perk of being near all the community features one enjoys on a vacation such as a variety of restaurants and outdoor activities while at the same time presents exceptional natural beauty, a peaceful setting, and a slower pace to life. It is a safe and quiet beach.

What makes this property unique

This is the place we head to when we want to relax and recharge. You will find it very clean, comfortable, and its location to be outstanding to enjoy a solo getaway, a romantic escape, or small family vacation. It is not on the sand and does not have a view of the Gulf but it is so close!
