Great location to walk to anything downtown Charleston. Short drive to Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms and Folly Beach! Comfy beds. We could have used a little more comfy seating options for our family of 4 to hang out together but too much to do to hang out inside a lot! Our trip was enjoyable.

Thanks so much for staying with us! Sounds like your family mastered the Charleston itinerary: walk downtown, hit the beaches, explore all day, then come back and enjoy those comfy beds. We appreciate the note about the seating and will keep it in mind. We’re thrilled you had such an enjoyable trip and hope to see you again soon!

We really appreciate your note. What a wonderful occasion to celebrate - congratulations to your daughter on her graduation! We’re glad your stay was enjoyable and it was a pleasure hosting you during such a special moment.
Clean & comfortable and great proximity to lots of good restaurants & bars. Only downside is that they are currently doing some major construction (building apartments) all around the house- obviously that is temporary.

Thank you for your review! We’re so glad you found the space clean, comfortable, and in such a great location near restaurants and bars. Our housekeeping team takes pride in their cleanliness, so that is wonderful to hear! We also appreciate your understanding regarding the nearby construction - it is temporary, and we’re grateful for your patience. Hope to host you again soon!
Nice place to stay. Affordable and clean. There is a large costruction project right next door. Workers woke us up most mornings shouting - this was mentioned in the listing.Parking was a minor inconvenience as we had two cars and only one spot for parking. We had to park the second car in a parking garage a few blocks away for a fee.One bedroom did nor have a TV and there was very little closet space or drawers to unpack our clothing.I would suggest putting a TV in the third bedroom, upgrade the kitchen appliances (they were quite small), and provide an option to purchase a parking pass. Overall, we had an ejoyable time.

We really appreciate you staying with us and sharing such detailed feedback. Glad to hear the home was clean, affordable, and still gave you an enjoyable stay overall. Sorry the construction next door made some early morning appearances, that is never the kind of wake up call anyone wants. We also hear you on parking, storage, and the setup details and will definitely keep those in mind as we continue improving the space. Thanks again for staying with us and we would be happy to host you again anytime.
Excellent location with a beautifully renovated older home that has both the historical charm with modern renovations down tastefully. The location was convenient to walk to King street restaurants and shopping. The only negative (that no one had control over) is the construction right next to the home. If you are a light sleeper like me, it made it very difficult to get a good nights rest. In addition, it was quite the eyesore to see port o potties right outside the bedroom window against the house. The construction trucks were delivering material (from what I can tell) even in the middle of the night and they start very early in the mornings. I recognize that the property owner has zero control over this. Being an older home, the walls and windows are very thin so you can hear EVERYTHING outside and upstairs. We could hear people outside our bedroom window talking away at 1am in addition to the road noise.Overall, if the noise doesn’t bother you, the rental is perfect. The owner was very responsive to a minor issue. We enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so happy you appreciated the historic character of the home and the modern renovations that help make it comfortable for our guests. The location is one of the things our travelers love most, being close to all that Charleston has to offer while allowing you to explore the city on foot. We’re sorry the nearby construction and city noise affected your experience. While the neighboring project is beyond our control, we truly appreciate your feedback and are glad our team was responsive when you needed us. We’d love to host you again in the future!
Location. Location. Location. Everything was within walking distance. Although we did enjoy an open bike taxi, common to Charleston. The unit was very well spaced and extremely clean. Although some of the furnishings had shown wear and some staining, minor when compared to each room had its own bathroom and king-size bed and each tastefully decorated. The kitchen was adorable with modern day appliances with a taste of yesteryear to match the original hardwood floors/brick wall. There was no dishwasher but in total it was all absolutely charming. The only reason I hesitate to leave 5 stars is the construction site next door. Having said that, it's important to note we were in the heart of the city with PARKING. Overall, I highly recommend this property and would stay again. I can also highly recommend Mario's for Italian food, The Darling Oyster bar for oysters, of course - both were amazingly delicious. We also enjoyed a haunted horse driven carriage ride with Old South Carriage. Our host was very responsive and very much appreciated.

Great girls trip! The house was walking distance from everything we wanted to see. It was roomy enough for all of us to be comfortable. Everything was new and decorated nicely and clean. We would definitely stay there again.
One block from King Street while being far enough away from rowdy party places. We had ample warning about the construction noise and had prepared accordingly. The unit was very spacious and immaculate, had a lot of historical character with modern amenities.Contacted the property manager and got prompt responses. My family was very pleased and we would definitely stay there again.
Parking for only one vehicle. Had to park other vehicles in parking garage (20 day average)

Not an ideal place to stay
There were some serious negatives with our stay at this location:1) A huge construction project is taking place right next door. Work began at 8am which caused loud noises -- unable to sleep in which is something we were looking forward to on vacation. Also, the construction caused the road to be blocked off. Sometimes, we were trapped in the driveway by the construction vehicles. 2) No one in our party was able to stay in the bedroom closest to the road because of a steel construction slab that caused loud banging throughout the night every time a car would drive over it. 3) The keypads on both doors were very challenging to use. We struggled to both open and close the locks on many occasions throughout our stay. 4) The shower in the bathroom attached to the rear bedroom would not produce any hot water. 5) Due to the old nature of the home, we could hear the tenants upstairs walking around (sounded like stomping); it even continued sometimes through the night which impacted our ability to sleep.
The property itself is beautiful, close to everything, good walking location, clean and a great host. Only problem was, even though the host mentioned construction nearby, the construction was right outside the side of the house. We received a 6 am noise call every morning. Just an FYI.
