Enjoy a relaxing lakeside escape at this charming cottage located directly on beautiful Island Pond in Island Pond, Vermont. Nestled on a quiet side road with virtually no traffic, the property offers a peaceful setting with calm waters and stunning lake views—perfect for a getaway.

The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, including a gas range and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, granite countertops, and double sink. The open living and dining area includes new comfortable couches, a dining table with Parsons chairs, and vinyl wood flooring throughout. A large bay window with a cushioned window seat provides the perfect spot to relax and take in views of the lake.

Additional amenities include Smart TVs, high-speed WiFi, washer and dryer, and an outdoor gas grill. Step outside onto the spacious deck with outdoor furniture, ideal for enjoying morning coffee or evening sunsets over the water.

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests across four bedrooms, with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. One of the downstairs bedrooms is a large bunk-style room with multiple queen beds and a SmartTV, making it perfect for families or groups traveling together.

Terrific getaway, a cozy lakeside cottage. Well equiped kitchen and comfortable beds. A perfect location for relaxing and also exploring all the North East Kingdom has to offer. Great outdoor options, swimming and paddling at your door step and extensive hiking nearby. Spectacular views from the decks. Our family had an amazing week at this charming lake house. Waking up to the loons while drinking coffee on the deck was almost as awesome as watching the sunsets at night. The owner was very receptive and informative. On a rainy day, the inside was cozy with the same incredible view from the living area. We would stay here again for sure!

The house has a beautiful view overlooking the lake. It is very well equipped and comfortable. We had a great time hiking, kayaking, cycling, and relaxing at the house. This area of Vermont is lovely and has much to offer. Owners were very helpful and accomodating. Would love to come back.

Another great stay

We love this cottage and had another great stay here at the cottage. Love being right on the water. At Jason’s recommendation we rented kayaks from Clyde River recreation easiest rental ever they were delivered within an hour of calling and had them for the week. Hiking is near by and went on a bass fishing tour on Lake Memphremagog as well as Jay peak water park. Thank You Jason for such a great place to stay.

Spectacular place to play and stay!!!

Beautifully decorated and clean. Enough beds for everyone, furniture was comfortable. The dock was perfect for our 22 foot boat to be tied up to for the week of tubing and sunset cruises (oh and picnic lunches at the island). Great BBQ grill, well stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans. Morning coffee on the deck as the fog rolled off the pond was as magical as the pink and orange sunsets we got every night!!

It is a lovely lakeside house with a beautiful deck with wonderful views. The lake is very clean; we enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. The house is well equipped and exactly as described by the host. A second bathroom would have been helpful, otherwise great. Will definitely consider coming back!

An ideal spot for any season!

It was marvelous to be in such a beautiful setting just as the leaves were changing. The house is cozy with an incredible view. Great location for walks in the quiet neighborhood and many nearby hikes for all levels of challenging. My favorite part was sitting on the terrace--when it was warm enough--or on the couch and staring at the gorgeous lake, dreaming of coming back in the summertime! Jason was a terrific host--very accessible and helpful.

Jason and Kaitlyn left a welcoming note along with homemade cinnamon buns and a bottle of wine. Instructions on what we needed to do and when were clear and concise (i.e. garbage removal, access). The house was clean and very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Stay!

It’s not easy to accommodate myself and my 6 other friends, but Jason was very helpful, responsive, and willing to make sure my friends and I were comfortable on our annual vacation. The house itself was very comfortable and clean, and the ability to stay on the dock and take in the views of the lake itself made for a fantastic and relaxing week! I would certainly recommend this house for anyone looking to go away with their friends (like myself) or for those looking to take the family to a beautiful lake house.
