Every property I have stayed in with VRBO previously has been a true vacation rental. This property is the owner’s permanent home. While the kitchen, dining and living areas were fairly clean, the main bath, and 2 bedrooms were full of personal items. Personal water bottles by the beds, toys and stuffed animals throughout one bedroom. Another bedroom had shoes, laundry, vitamin supplements as well as grooming products all out within the room. Main bath was cluttered with personal grooming products. Refrigerator was full with owner’s food. We arrived at night, and one guest refused to stay and left for a hotel. 5 of us stayed that first night- and 4 guests left the following morning. I stayed a second night and departed the next morning leaving the property vacant for the third night of our booking.Furthermore in house rules document owner asked us to tell neighbors that we were house sitting if anyone inquired.If you are looking for a very clean rental property without other people’s belongings throughout this property is not for you. None of us were comfortable staying there
