About this property
Luxury Ridge Top Cabin w/ Hot Tub & Epic Views
Mile High was built for the majestic views that can only be seen from the wings of an eagle. Situated on the side of a mountain ridge within the Ouachita National Forest, our scenic abode overlooks Beaver’s Bend State Park and Lower Mountain Fork River. As you make your ascent through the rolling hills of the exclusive Cordillera mountain view development, you’ll encounter breathtaking views of Broken Bow Lake, beautiful pines, and an occasional herd of deer. The drive up to Mile High Club creates a sense of calm that quiets the mind and allows the soul to speak.
Important Arrival Note: Mile High Cabin is situated on a scenic hillside, providing beautiful mountain views. The driveway and access roads leading to the cabin are inclined and include some switchback turns. Most standard vehicles can navigate them safely, but we recommend driving slowly, using caution in wet or icy conditions, and taking wide turns as needed.
We want your arrival to be smooth and stress-free — following these tips will ensure a safe journey up the hill and allow you to start enjoying your cabin getaway right away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation with the kids, grandkids, and the grand dogs! The house was beautiful, had all the essentials we needed, and the view was amazing. My husband and I got up early and had our coffee on the porch swing enjoying the view. I even snapped a few pictures of deer by the cabin sign. We even had donuts delivered by Cinnamon the sweet lady Bigfoot which was a fun surprise! Will be telling our friends about our wonderful stay and great accommodations!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your family—kids, grandkids, and even the grand dogs—had such a memorable stay at Mile High.
It sounds like those peaceful mornings on the porch swing with coffee and mountain views were extra special, and we love that you spotted deer right by the cabin—those moments truly make the experience and Mile High Cabin extra special! We would love to hear more about the “lady Bigfoot named Cinnamon”!
We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and recommending us to your friends. It would be an absolute pleasure to host you and your family again anytime.

Amazing Stay in Broken Bow
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our stay at the Mile High Cabin in Broken Bow was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! The cabin is tucked into the most cozy, woodsy setting—peaceful, private, and exactly what we were looking for.
Every detail inside was thoughtfully done. The cabin has such a warm, elevated feel that perfectly blends luxury with a relaxing, cozy cabin atmosphere—you can tell the owners truly considered everything to make guests feel comfortable. The aviation theme was such a unique touch and was executed so tastefully.
Check-in and check-out were seamless, and communication was excellent from start to finish.
We especially loved the outdoor space—making s’mores with our two kids at the firepit and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings was a highlight. Waking up to deer grazing on the property in the mornings and evenings was such a special bonus.
My husband and kids loved the games upstairs, which made it even more fun for the whole family. Another favorite feature was having balconies off of every bedroom—perfect for enjoying quiet moments and the fresh air.
We also enjoyed grilling steaks, sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine, and taking in the beautiful mountain views.
If you’re visiting the area, here are a few places we loved:
Hiking Friends Trail at Beavers Bend State Park
Visiting Hochatown Rescue Center (highly recommend!)
Lunch at Buffalo Grill
Lunch at Mountain Fork Brewery
Drinks at Beavers Bend Brewery
Dessert at The Broken Banana
Shopping in Hochatown
Dinner at Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Tap Room
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Broken Bow!

About the host
Your host
Mile High Cabin is owned by a pair of long-time friends who share a passion for the great outdoors and aviation. We find Broken Bow and Hochatown to be the perfect place to “unplug and unwind” from the hustle and bustle of life. Our days are spent exploring scenic rivers, fishing, or hiking through the surrounding forests, and our evenings are enjoyed gathered around a fire under the stars, or out on the town for a nice meal and ice cream — making memories with friends and family.
The combination of aviation and the stunning views inspired the name “Mile High” — a nod to the breathtaking scenery that feels as expansive as looking out from a plane’s window.
Why they chose this property
Choose Mile High Club for an unforgettable Broken Bow getaway. This luxury cabin offers breathtaking tree top and mountain views, a private hot tub, and a fully equipped game room — perfect for families, friends, or couples seeking adventure and relaxation. Wake up with a cup of coffee on the deck, watch the sunrise over the treetops, and enjoy the peace and seclusion of your own private retreat. Spend your days fishing, hiking, or exploring scenic rivers, and your evenings gathered around a fire under the stars or enjoying a quiet night in with all the comforts of home. What makes this property unique
Upon arrival, you’ll land in the open-concept kitchen. While Broken Bow has many excellent restaurants, this gourmet kitchen invites you to cook in style with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, double ovens, and an oversized island that seats four. A formal dining table accommodates six, and the outdoor dining table seats eight.
The open living area features a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace and expansive windows that bring the outside in. Relax on the cozy couch, oversized chairs, or recliners while taking in the breathtaking views. Step onto the front deck — our “Sky Deck” — with six rocking chairs and unobstructed views of Broken Bow’s natural beauty.
Mile High features three master ensuite bedrooms, each with a private balcony. The downstairs master is “first class only,” boasting a clawfoot tub, spa-style dual shower, porch swing bed, and 6-person hot tub. Curl up with a book, share a glass of wine, or soak away the day’s adventures.
Upstairs on the flight deck, a catwalk loft overlooks the living area and features a shuffleboard table and arcade system for family fun. The loft separates two ensuite bedrooms, each with a king bed and trundle. One upstairs bath offers a tub or shower; the other is shower-only. Each room supports a family of four and includes a private balcony for morning coffee or evening wine.
A short stroll down the flagstone path leads to the fire pit, where you can gather with family and friends, make s’mores, and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature — creating unforgettable memories at Mile High.
