Cozy two bedroom, one bath studio located on historic farm once owned by author/artist Maurice Sendak ("Where the Wild Things Are"). Named after the Kingfishers that visit the pond across the driveway, this well appointed accommodation consists of a King bedroom (with tv and window air conditioner), a Queen bedroom, shared bath with shower and laundry, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven, Nespresso machine. Living room furnished with desk, two sofas and tv. Wi-fi throughout. No central A/C but space remains fairly cool during the summer and floor or table fans are available in each bedroom.
This accommodation is downstairs from another rental space, but has a private terrace with propane grill and outdoor seating.
There are other accommodations on the property (farm house, upstairs accommodation "The Heron") shared spaces include pickleball court (paddles & balls provided) and herb garden. Property is a working farm - when vegetables are in-season, we share with our guest. Farm equipment and odors/fragrance are part of the experience!
