Outstanding property
I could not start this review without mentioning our host Elisa. It is difficult to find words to express how superb she was from our initial communication right the way through to our last day and if we could score a 10 out of 5 we would.The property itself is huge, very quiet, private and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need to cook with a handy supermarket a 10 minute uphill walk away. I would recommend ordering some fresh fish which was delivered and fantastic (Elisa will provide information). Before we arrived we were provided with really helpful information about the property and details of a supermarket that will deliver to the property.Check in was really easy and went smoothly with a show around the property and keys handed over.The views down to the Mediterranean from the terraces at the front of the property were stunning and from one of the bedrooms up to Madam Etna silently smoking away….The pool is a great relief from the heat and for the exclusive use of guests, the property has everything you need and more.We had a great time visiting lots of places including Acitrezzo, Catania, Taormina (by bus), Siracuse/Ortigia (by train) and AcicastelloWe were without a car and found Uber black really efficient to get us to the places we wanted to be. I could not recommend this property more highly as it provides a home away from home feeling.
