Holiday in a Construction Caravan—Peace. Pleasure. Relaxation. Located right on the banks of the Glött River, this cosy, converted construction caravan—with views of horse paddocks and open, undeveloped fields—is perfect for self-catering guests in the heart of a large garden. The town of Glött, with its 1,081 residents, is located 9 km south of the county seat of Dillingen. There are many quarry lakes nearby, whose clear waters invite you to take a dip and go for a swim. Günzburg and LEGOLAND® Deutschland are about a 15-minute drive away, while Augsburg and Ulm are just over half an hour away. The 4-star Danube Cycle Path runs almost right past Glött, and Nördlingen and the Nördlinger Ries are also not to be missed. Our construction caravan is situated in an orchard among apple, sour cherry, and cherry plum trees, with a view of the horse pasture and open, undeveloped landscapes. Every season has its own special charm. In spring, the first flower buds appear, and the cuckoo’s call invites you to walk barefoot. At the start of summer, our trees bloom in the most magnificent colours, and bees and insects buzz everywhere. In midsummer, the loud chirping of crickets fills the air, and the frogs croak in the pond. The scent of hay fills the air, and long evenings by the fire invite you to linger. In fall, the rain pat ters on the tin roof, and it’s slowly time to light the stove. Winter brings endless peace and serenity in cosy warmth. Our construction caravan offers: a large bunk bed for 4 people, a dining area with a corner bench and chairs, a wood-burning stove, a large patio with patio furniture and a grill, a nearby water connection, a small toilet and shower house in a separate building about a 25-meter walk away, and an electrical connection. Holiday guests are welcome to take advantage of our animal-assisted education programmes by arrangement. Introductory riding lessons are also available. Trail riders are warmly welcome. A fenced-off paddock or pasture is available for your horses. Price upon request. A deposit of 20% may be charged after booking. The remaining balance is to be paid in cash on site. Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Bedding and towels can be added as optional extras: Bedding per person: 10 euros Towels per person: 4 euros For stays of only one night, you may opt to do the final cleaning yourself. For stays of two nights or more, a mandatory final cleaning fee of 25 euros will be charged. Electricity costs are billed in cash on the day of departure based on usage and are charged separately.
