About the host
Hosted by Joe Marino & Jim Perkowski
Jim & Joe — Our Provincetown Story We first came to Provincetown in July of 1984, camping in a tiny pup tent and falling instantly in love with this extraordinary place at the tip of Cape Cod. For years, we returned every summer, meeting lifelong friends and staying in some of the most charming Bed & Breakfast Inns you can imagine — more than three decades of memories, laughter, and community.
Eventually, we found our first happy home in the East End and cherished every moment there. If you’ve seen the VRBO with over fifty-five-star reviews from that property, those are indeed from our former home — a place we loved deeply and cared for with pride.
Then this past September afternoon, we toured a vacant home in the West End. One visit was all it took. We knew instantly: this was where we wanted to begin our next chapter. What followed was a joyful winter of designing, renovating, and creating a space that felt peaceful, bright, and true to the Provincetown spirit we’ve carried with us since that first pup‑tent summer.
Today, we’re grateful to share this new home with you. Our hope is that your stay brings the same sense of renewal, connection, and Outer Cape magic that has shaped our lives for more than forty years.
Welcome to Provincetown — and welcome to a place made with heart.
Why they chose this property
Memories of The Moors & Beach Days — Fun, Light, and Local Long before our home stood here, this part of the West End was home to The Moors — a legendary Provincetown restaurant that everyone remembers for its lively energy and classic Cape Cod charm. After long days on the beach, people would wander in with sun‑kissed faces and sandy feet, ready for seafood, cocktails, and the kind of laughter that drifted out into the salt air. The beauty of the marsh, the glow of the sunset, and the buzz of summer nights created a feeling you will never forget. Those beach days, great meals, and the easy joy of Provincetown summers are woven into the history of this spot — and we love that the spirit of The Moors still lives on in the neighborhood today.
What makes this property unique
When you stay here, you’re not just renting a home. You’re stepping into a space shaped by love, nature, creativity, hospitality, and the spirit of the Outer Cape — whether you’ve cherished this coastline for years or you’re experiencing its magic for the very first time. We hope you cook meals that become traditions, share conversations that linger, and create memories that stay with you long after your visit.
Our home isn’t a typical vacation rental — it’s the place we created for the next chapters of our lives. Provincetown has been part of our story since 1984, when we were young guys camping in a pup tent with no idea how deeply this town would shape us. From luxury B&Bs to long walks on Commercial Street, Provincetown has always felt like home.
We’re lovers of nature, and that connection shows in the calm, coastal feel of our space — the natural light, textures, colors, and the way each room reflects the beauty of the Outer Cape. We’re perfectionists in the best way, which means every detail matters: comfort, cleanliness, design, and thoughtful touches that make a stay feel special.
Cooking, grilling, and gathering people we love have always been part of our joy. Whether it’s neighbors stopping by for a casual BBQ, friends sharing a summer dinner outdoors, or family gathered around the kitchen, our home was designed for connection and the simple pleasure of sharing a great meal.
Over the years, many of our summer renters became true friends — relationships built through personal touches, warm communication, and welcoming them back to our previous home year after year. Those connections remind us that hospitality is about people, stories, and shared moments.
After 46 years together, we’re now making new history in this amazing Provincetown home — and we’re grateful to share it with guests who love the Outer Cape as much as we do.
