We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at this property and cannot recommend it highly enough. We traveled from Philadelphia to DC to see the cherry blossoms at their peak, and this home served as the perfect base for our group (two couples, a toddler, an infant, and a dog).From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The entrance is framed by a stunning bush with vibrant orange flowers that set a welcoming tone for the rest of our trip.What We Loved: * The Space: The home was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It provided the perfect atmosphere for making lasting memories with our family and friends. * The Location: It’s in a fantastic spot—just a short, easy drive to the monuments and surrounded by a great variety of local dining options. * Kid & Pet Friendly: It’s often a challenge to find a place that comfortably accommodates a toddler, a 3-month-old, and a dog, but this home handled our group perfectly.Exceptional Hospitality:What truly set this stay apart was the owner’s hospitality. In a moment of "parent brain," we realized we had forgotten to pack socks for our toddler. The owner went above and beyond, researching the best nearby shops to help us out. That level of care and personal touch is rare and was deeply appreciated. If you are looking for a beautiful, stress-free stay near the nation’s capital, look no further. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
