Houseboat Fjord Vela with bio sauna and roof terrace in Barth

A holiday on the Fjord Vela means relaxation and rejuvenation, freedom, or adventure—whether you’re travelling with friends, family, or as a couple.

This spacious, moored houseboat offers you all the comforts of a modern, high-quality holiday apartment—complete with a sun deck and rooftop terrace—across approximately 50 square metres of living space. The special highlight of the Fjord Vela is the bio sauna at the stern of the boat.

In the cosy living area with open-concept kitchen, you can relax on the couch or gather around the spacious table for a delicious meal or a game night.

The fully equipped kitchen, complete with all essential appliances, an induction stove, and a microwave, leaves nothing to be desired. The dishwasher helps you get back to focusing on the essentials of your holiday quickly.

On warm days, the two sun decks in front of and behind the living area, as well as the rooftop terrace, invite you to relax and sunbathe.
From here, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view across the Barther Bodden to the offshore Fischland–Darß–Zingst peninsula and can savour wonderful sunsets.

Inside the houseboat, in addition to the living area with underfloor heating for cold days, you’ll find two bedrooms, each with a double bed, as well as a modern bathroom with a shower. There is plenty of storage space in the closets and in the drawers under the beds.

The town of Barth charges a visitor’s tax year-round. The day of arrival and the day of departure are counted as two days. Children under 18 are free of charge. Billing takes place directly through Fjordlink following your booking.

Please note that the use of bed linens is mandatory. You can either bring your own or add them to your booking during the reservation process.

At the Wendtorf, Barth, and Schleswig locations, additional fees in the form of a visitor’s tax, tourism fee, or overnight stay tax may apply. These costs are not included in the price and will be billed separately afterwards.
