Enveloped in pines, this newly furnished 3BR/2BA home offers a prime location for alpine adventure. Hit the slopes at Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, just a quick drive from the property.



After a day on the slopes or shopping downtown, grill dinner on the expansive deck and dine alfresco. Then plan the next day's adventures by the cozy living room fireplace.

Gather your group in the homey living room for a movie night on TV. Enjoy the warm ambience of the electric fireplace and challenge your family to a game night.

The modern kitchen has all the gadgets you might need including stainless steel appliances and ample counter space. While dinner simmers, perch at the kitchen bar with seating for three. Call your crew to the six-person dining table and enjoy a family-style feast together.

This single-story home sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.



The spacious primary bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.



The second bedroom offers a full-size bed and sunny windows, while the third bedroom provides another full-size bed and a desk.

Property was excellent and our stay was wonderful. The house is well maintained and you can tell it's cared for and loved. It felt to us like staying at a friend's house for the weekend. Couldn't recommend this home more highly.

Third time renting this Tahoe Donner home! Celebrating parents 70th wedding anniversary, this home is one level and great for seniors. Clean and very comfortable. Home has everything you need for an enjoyable weekend celebrating family!

Lovely place in the winter

Cozy, comfortable, great location and plenty of room. Our family got sick, so a trip planned on the slopes turned into lounging around the cabin. However, with the great kitchen, couches, and entertainment, plus snow to play with in the yard in short burts, everyone had a great time.

Really great house. My husband and I went with our 2 children ages 5 & 7. We loved how quickly they came to fix some broken fire alarms. Guest passes were included for discount to the Tahoe Donner snow play. We loved it and would go back!

This home was a lovely little cozy escape! All of the furnishings, appliances and decorative touches were of great quality. The home was clean. The beds were superb.The location is in the quiet woods and the views of the stars were breathtaking. We had everything we needed for a short weekend. Short drive to the beaches/lakes. Perfect Property, and located in the right location near local shopping (ie Safeway). The property looks just like the pictures. It was extremely clean, and had plenty of towel, and blankets. Property management was very attentive, and checked in to see if we needed anything via text. I will definitely recommend and rent this property again. Thanks for making our staycation pleasant.

Second Time and Will be Back

Great property, especially when you have a senior with you! All one floor and accessible. Brought my 80+ year old mom and she was quite comfortable. My teen son was happy as the property has wifi. This property has everything you could want, including great wine glasses! We love Tahoe Donner and it's great facilities for both winter and summer fun. We will be returning and booking this property.

Cozy getaway for our family

We booked this home for a Christmas getaway for our family. There were 6 of us and the space accommodated the group perfectly. I was pleased with how clean and well-stocked the rental was upon arrival. The walkway was even shoveled so there was no issue getting to the doorway which we appreciated. The response time of the rental company was also excellent. We had trouble connecting to the WiFi and our issue was instantly resolved. The location of the property was great. We were a quick drive from both Northstar and Squaw Valley as well as Safeway. I would highly recommend this rental and would certainly stay again.

Excellent house...almost 5 star

This house gets a 5-star rating for comfort, quality, and location. Kitchen was well equipped with gas stove, nice refrigerator, and good cooking pots, knives, etc., Beds were super comfy and master bedroom bathroom is upgraded and large with double shower. The second bathroom is small and nothing special but clean with good water pressure and heat. This property would be a 5-star rating; however, WIFI and TV are not reliable and dealing any issues was very difficult...via text only.

The property was clean, well stocked, great location and TurnKey was super responsive whenever we needed something. I really appreciate how well stocked the kitchen was - it made it very easy to cook and enjoy meals with our family. We loved the cozy family room and stargazing on the deck. I loved the location and how easy it was to head out on a hike or a beautiful walk through the neighborhood. We would definitely book this house again in the future!

Bummer

Our trip was cut short due to severe winter storm. I have never purchased travel insurance before. This will change my future plans. We only stayed 1 of 3 nights. Total bummer, but I didn’t want to risk our safety. Otherwise the house was nice and the location was suitable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean, we enjoyed the guest passes for the rec center, and we liked the tv/movie options for the evenings. We had mostly everything we needed, but we've stayed places that had better stocked kitchens- we had to go out and get a new scrub/sponge for dishes, paper towels (we were provided with much less than a quarter of a roll), and dishwasher soap. Also, we were disappointed the deck was full of snow. We understand it is winter, but it would have been nice to be able to use the deck in the afternoons for après-ski since it was so sunny and on the warmer side.

Lovely Updated Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nicely equipped and updated. Very clean with comfy beds. My only negative has more to do with inaccurate booking information by the rental company than the cabin itself. It was advertised as having A/C and I even confirmed via email with the rental company. We get there to discover it does not have A/C. It took the rental company 2 full days of our vacation to remedy the situation by installing a window unit and offering a discount. Other than this mishap, our stay was very nice. It’s a good location between Truckee and Donner Lake.
