The Space:

Whether you are looking for a tranquil lakeside getaway or want to experience championship golf courses and outdoor recreational amenities the ranch offers, this comfortable home, is one of the most charming vacation rentals at the ranch. With wood ceilings creating a warm atmosphere, you will get a true sense of a cabin in the woods, yet you will still have all of the modern comforts of home to enjoy. After a full day of adventure, the brand-new back deck can be the perfect place to host a cookout using the gas grill as the sun dips behind the trees that surround Aspen Lake. Inside, the chefs of the group can hop into the fully remodeled and expanded kitchen and make tasty creations with ease. Everyone will love gathering around the new island and adjacent dining table to reminisce about the day. Plus, cozying up for a movie night in the living room next to the wood-burning fireplace will be a great choice before hitting the hay in one of the bedrooms.



This will be a great jumping-off point for visiting the quaint western town of Sisters! Sister's annual quilt show and rodeo are well known world-wide and bring great entertainment to the area. Mountain-biking the nearby McKenzie River trails, hiking Black Butte, fly fishing the Metolius River, or renting a rowboat at Three Creek Lake and landing a feisty native brown trout or paddleboarding are all great options as well. When you want to venture out a bit, Bend is just 30 miles away for gourmet dining and outlet shopping. Cross-country and night skiing at Hoodoo is always fun. Snowshoeing and sledding are also great winter options offered on-site (when weather permits) and nearby the resort. If you choose not to leave the ranch, you can rent a canoe or a horse! The lakefront bistro is always good. The home is centrally located near the ranch's three recreation facilities and the resort’s new general store is stocked with everything you need to cook at home.

We had a great weekend at Aspen House 21. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and really cute. The layout is really nice. Love the laundry room with a place to hang coats, put shoes and store bags. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was great and loved the location. We wished we could have had more supplies like toilet paper. We only had half a roll in each bathroom, with no extras supplied. There were plenty of cooking pots, pans, spices, oils.

Nice updated home except the electronics. Comfortable for the family in the living area. The kitchen and bathrooms have all been updated. The only thing that has not been updated is the electronics. No smart TVs to use with WiFi that worked well.

Perfect House

We stayed here for my brothers wedding last week. This house fit my crew perfectly. I loved having the washer and dryer to keep up with the pool towels we used. The house was very clean when we arrived. Black Butte has lots of built in amenities. You don’t need to leave the community at all if you don’t want to.

Great location, updated, lots of natural light:)

One of the best places we’ve stayed in at BBR and we have been going every year for 15 years. Home is nicely updated, kitchen is well stocked, back deck is private with a nice view of Aspen “pond”. Easy to walk or bike to the meadow or the pools (you can get to three pools within a 3 minute drive or 15 min walk). Only thing to be aware of is the the master is upstairs with a bath but a queen bed and there is no door - just a single staircase so semi-private. The downstairs rooms including the king bed room, share the larger bath. Would definitely try to rent this same home again though! And great art- I think maybe the owner painted lots of it:)

Wonderful Fall stay at AH21

We had 3 days of poolside weather and 1 day mighty cold weather. The fireplace was just the ticket for the cold day adding just the right atmosphere. This is a great house...delivers as advertised.

Peaceful cabin in Black Butte

We enjoyed our stay in Aspen 21. The pictures on Vacasa are somewhat misleading as the kitchen is very small (1 person) but very well stocked . The living room is also small but it worked for us as we were mostly biking and swimming. It’s well located not far from the Rec Center and South Meadow Pool. 6 of us were here, 4 adults and 2 young boys and the bedrooms worked out well. The outside deck could be improved but we loved the view to little Aspen lake and the cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked!
