Superbowl Weekend

This house was amazing! I stayed here with some friends and there was so much space. We played a lot of games and there were several tables that fit all 12 of us. The kitchen was amazing too, we were able to cook multiple things at once in the ovens. It was a great weekend and I would definitely recommend this house!

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The venue suited our family well. My only suggestion would be more specific instructions regarding recycling and garbage. To us it was unclear exactly what could be recycled and how it should be divided. Some of the garbage cans had a 307 on them; some did not. Both types had garbage in some and recycling in another when we went to add ours. We tried to be good stewards.

Great house in the woods for groups

This is a great space for 3-4 family our one big one. We loved the multiple separate living spaces. The big dining table upstairs was constantly in use for board games while the kids liked the downstairs family room and game room. It's a big space and very quiet because is the separation between areas.

House had a bit of a funky layout but it fit us all with plenty of parking…had some trouble with the wifi but management was very responsive and check in and out was very easy…Pool was hard to find, and we didn’t realize there were two so accidentally went to the other one first but the kids enjoyed the pool option too! All in all it was a good stay!

Great getaway for a large group

Loved our stay - we were a large group with several families and it was perfect for us. There are lots of separate areas to hang out giving the feeling of options and privacy for everybody. The game room, two living rooms, and dining room are all disconnected from each other which was good for not feeling too crowded. Hot tub was great. The main bedroom is far nicer than the four smaller bedrooms, very luxurious. This home is in a wooded area but is not private, with plenty of neighbors within line of sight, but that was fine for us too.

Hood Hideaway, what an incredible experience!

You can hardly call this home a "cabin." It is more like a luxurious one-of-a-kind architectural gem. It is a very unique experience. All the rooms have their own little personality, so beautifully decorated in a simple and elegant style. I especially like the rec room with pool table, fussball, TVs, which is right beside the outside patio with a hot tub. The back of the house has a beautiful view of the golf course grounds. You will have a marvelous time discovering all the little nooks.

Fun house

Our grandkids loved this house because of all the space and the unusual little bedroom at the top, which was perfect for our two teenage boys. The rec room was a big hit, with the bar, pool table and other games. A sofa in the rec room would be nice. Otherwise, the house was well furnished, with plenty of kitchen dishes, pots, pans and dishes of every size. A very quiet neighborhood, so this definitely is a family place, and not for parties, which was fine with us.

House floor plan was a bit strange but worked well for our group. Fire place was real nice but didn’t try the pellet stove. I literally slipped and fell on the stairs with socks on my feet. Maybe a stairway runner of carpet would help. No darts for dartboard! Pool table and hot tub were great. Kitchen well stocked and plenty of parking was nice.

Everyone loved it

Only points of stress were recurring emails that said vehicles had to be registered prior to arrival and then I would receive check-in info on day before of arrival. Flying in and renting vehicles meant I could not provide that information until very late...if I had internet connection. Just needed to know I could get in to the house, then register cars. Community is not gated, and no one checked plates as far as I could tell. The house itself? Wonderful!

Great place, a bit of a weird layout.

First off, we had a hiccup where the gas ran out of propane the first night and the house was quite cold. Everyone jumped in to ensure we got warm ASAP. The propane was refilled the next day (early afternoon) and the owner came and brought us space heaters in the interim, as well as more pellets for the downstairs pellet stove. The house fit all of us well, sadly we couldn't use the hot tub as it was heated with gas and never got warm enough. The weird layout of going to the bottom floor to get to the third floor bedroom was a bit weird, but it wasn't a big deal. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Big driveway and you can back up to the garage for easy unloading. All the nooks and crannies made for very fun hide and seek! There was room to spread out, put our snow stuff at the front door, play games in one room and watch movies in another. The beds were comfy with plenty of blankets. The two downstairs bathrooms were cold, but that encouraged quick in and outs :D. We will definitely stay here again.

The house needs a binder with information about where to get swimming pool pass and other location info. The house has a carpenter ant problem, inside and out. House needs a fan for the upstairs bedroom. Very hot and stuffing up there. Half of the kitchen freezer does not work. Firepit knob it broken an couldnt use the fire pit. Windows are very hard to open. Need a bigger garbage can outside. I made a few calls to the 800 number but got no help getting the firepit fixed or a fan. Boards on hot tub deck are unstable and the deck really needs to be maintained.

Beautiful Home for Get-a-way Adventure

This home served our group well - a short 10-person golf retreat for a group of relatively fit retired women. It is conveniently located for access to numerous outdoor activities in the western Mt. Hood area. The home is exceptionally clean and well decorated. Although we did not cook meals there, we did use the kitchen for breakfast and dessert/snack attacks. It is remarkably well-stocked for cooking items, dishes, and glasses. There was an abundance of towels for bathroom and hot tub use. There is easy parking for several cars. We understand that the home did not have air conditioning, but we found the Master and bottom floor room quite comfortable during warm weather days. The 3rd (top) floor room was hot, however. A portable air conditioner did help to cool is down somewhat. The 3rd floor room also is not easily accessible for anyone who has movement or balance concerns, or who has to make frequent trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It is cute and comfortable however. Overall, this was a beautiful place for a our 10-person retreat. It would work for a larger group if the group consisted of young adults and children who could easily access the bunk beds and the 3rd floor room.

Amazing place
