We are a Texas family who first discovered Staniel Cay in 1996 after friends invited us down for a visit. From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was different. The water, the people, and the quiet pace of life stayed with us long after we left.
Over time, Staniel Cay stopped feeling like a destination and became home. When we are here, you will usually find us spearfishing off the point, diving the reefs, fishing the Exuma Sound, or grilling on the beach with our two daughters as the sun goes down.
Today, we are excited to share Pelican Point with a small number of guests each year.

Why they chose this property
The first time we saw Staniel Cay, we knew we had found something rare. No large resorts, no crowds, no traffic, just a small island community surrounded by some of the most beautiful water in the world.
In 2008, we found the property at Pelican Point and immediately knew it was special. Construction began shortly after and was completed in 2012.
Even after traveling throughout the Bahamas, we never found another place that offered the same combination of privacy, natural beauty, and authentic island life.
