Host was friendly and promptly responded when I reached out. My daughter and I were watching a movie on the couch and realized we had ants crawling on us, the blanket we were using, and the cushions. They were coming in from a window behind us. Bathroom shower curtain smelled sour. Host did say that they would have someone come to handle the ants, but we had to cut our trip short. I was offered a 7% discount on my next stay with them, but felt like maybe this stay should have been the one discounted. Experience not worth the price.

We’re genuinely sorry that you encountered ants during your stay, as this is not typical of the property. We have regular pest-control service in place and take preventative measures to keep the home properly maintained. However, occasional pest activity can occur unexpectedly, particularly around windows and exterior areas. As soon as you informed us, we took the concern seriously and offered to have the issue addressed, while also arranging for ant spray and additional supplies to help resolve it as quickly as possible. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the shower curtain and have followed up on that concern as well. We continuously review guest feedback to improve our cleaning and maintenance standards, and we hope future guests experience the comfortable stay we aim to provide.
