The Space:

Welcome to Sunset Atelier, a striking architectural retreat nestled in the heart of Sunset Park. Designed by renowned Los Angeles architect Brian Murphy, this residence is a masterclass in considered design, rich walnut hardwood floors, custom steel doors, and hand-painted Moroccan tiles create a sense of warmth and character that is anything but ordinary.



The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas flow effortlessly into one another, equally suited to quiet evenings in, or relaxed entertaining. The chef's kitchen is exceptionally appointed with a 60" BlueStar gas range, Thermador double refrigerator, wine fridge, bar, and butler's pantry. A gas fireplace anchors the living space, and a Russound whole-home, multi zone audio system with integrated speakers sets the mood throughout. The elegant wood-paneled library offers a serene escape, equally perfect for an afternoon of reading or an evening gathered around the game table.



Upstairs, the primary bedroom captures the ocean breeze and opens to a spa-like bathroom featuring a freestanding soaking tub and steam shower. Two additional bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms offer generous space for family or guests.



A detached ADU serves as a private gym and office, while bamboo-lined patios and thoughtfully designed outdoor seating areas create seamless indoor-outdoor living ,a true hallmark of the California lifestyle.



The Neighborhood:

Sunset Park places you one mile from the beach, minutes from the dining and boutiques of Main Street and Venice, and approximately 12 miles from SoFi Stadium. A peaceful residential pocket with everything the Westside has to offer at your doorstep.



Other Things to Note:

Pet Policy: Pets are allowed with owner approval and a $150 charge. Maximum of one dog, less than 30 lbs. is allowed.



Rove requires a property rental agreement to be signed by the primary guest prior to arrival for all reservations at this home.



The space & community: Sunset Atelier sits in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. We ask that guests honor the character of the neighborhood, no smoking, no parties. Gatherings of more than 8 guests require advance approval.



Stays of 7+ nights: Weekly cleaning is required for stays over 7 days. Mid-stay cleans can also be arranged through our housekeeping partner for an additional $250.



Privacy & security: The home is equipped with an alarm system, exterior security cameras, and two interior motion sensors on the ground floor for your peace of mind.



Owner presence: In accordance with Santa Monica's Home-Sharing ordinance, the owner resides on the property. Complete privacy is guaranteed from check-in to check-out.



Parking: Sunset Park is permit-only. Two parking passes are included, with additional passes available upon request.



Child Policy: Please note that this home allows less than two children, ages 5 and above.



As a reminder, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, in the home or in the outside areas of the home. Smoking will result in a odor removal fee of no less than $500 and up to $1,000 as well as possible removal from the property.



Security deposit



A refundable credit card hold of $1,000 is required as a security deposit for stays at this home to cover any property damage that may occur during your stay. A credit card is required for processing and the hold will be placed 48 hours prior to your arrival. The release of this hold will initiate 2 days after your departure following a departure inspection of the home by our local team.
