Accessible by car - An alpine trail/gravel road, approx. 8 km—no low-clearance vehicles!!!

The sounds of the mountains: animal calls & birdsong, the rustling of the wind
Our calves also graze on the alpine pastures in the summer; these areas are, of course, fenced off. In the morning, you might hear the bells ringing, and the animals will occasionally return to the hut’s barn to eat... A magnificent sight and, at the same time, a natural alarm clock on our beautiful alpine pasture.
If you have a dog with you, please keep it on a leash and bring enough poop bags with you. Thank you!



It can rain very heavily in the mountains, and it can get cold in the evenings even in summer. In any case, you should pack sturdy footwear, rain gear, and warm clothing. You should also pack a pocket knife and a torch.

Since you won’t be able to go down to the valley during your cabin holiday, you should think about what you want to cook and eat.

Please keep the hiking trails, meadows, and forests clean so that the mountain landscape remains as beautiful as it is.

Leave nothing behind in nature but your footprints.

Leave the cabin just as you found it when you arrived.

As a general rule: The cabin should be left swept and tidy, so please clean up everything and wash the dishes before you leave.

In the mountains, it’s customary to greet everyone you meet in a friendly manner. It’s not customary to use the formal “Sie”; just use “du” with everyone.

The typical greetings in the mountains are “Griaß di” or “Servus,” and to say goodbye, “Pfiat di” (singular) or “Pfiat enk” (plural)
