Property was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. Check-in process was seamless and house manager was very responsive. Location was close to Cherry Beach and a short drive to Union Pier and New Buffalo where we found some nice restaurants. We had a great stay!
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this charming little house. The home was modern, cozy, and exceptionally clean, making it the perfect place to unwind. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming getaway.
Super cute! Enjoyed our stay. Host communicated well. Everything was very clean. Nicely secluded. We woke up seeing deer and turkey during our stay. The property is not far (10min) from local businesses, bars etc. Union Pier Social had the best wings. Ghost Isle had great drinks. Our favorite was Beer Church, especially for brunch. I would not suggest watching Watchers during your stay haha Overall great experience and we’d definitely return. Thanks for having us!
Really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was a little smaller than I expected, and seating was somewhat limited for a family. The kitchen had everything we needed except a large frying pan, which is a funny thing to notice until you're trying to cook breakfast for everyone. Those are small complaints, though. The cabin was very nice, clean, and the location was excellent. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go, and we had a great trip.
Such a beautiful, clean, new place and lovely stay! Owner and manager were both friendly and quick to communicate with. We really enjoyed the area and appreciated all the local spot recs. Some of our favorite places: Bentwood Tavern, PostBoy, and Stray Dog for dinner; Cherry Beach for beach lounging; Twin Maple Orchard for fruit and flower picking; Oinks for ice cream, Black Currant for pastries. We got to watch turkeys and deer right outside almost every day. Nobody was home at the time we stayed but the main house is right next door, so with all the windows, privacy could be a little limited is the only possible downfall.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property for our 5 day stay as a family of 4. Communication was timely and not overbearing. The grounds are gorgeous - wildlife sightings and fragrant garden are highlights. The cabin is beautifully designed thoughtfully appointed, and very clean. Having access to laundry facilities was so helpful! The unit is a little smaller than I expected from photos, and only one small bathroom for 4 people was slightly challenging, but an extra mirror somewhere else would be really helpful. The outdoor shower wasn’t working during our stay, which was a slight bummer, but not a deal breaker. Lots of thoughtful touches like a local jam and coffee sample, kitchen cabinets stocked with essentials and games/puzzles, and free firewood for the fire pit. This was the perfect home base for our exploration of the area, which has so much to see and do. Check out the many wineries, Lavender Bliss farm, Shuler Dairy tour, downtown Three Oaks, New Buffalo and St Joseph/Silver Beach. Cherry Beach was an easy 15 min walk and beautiful. We absolutely loved this first trip to the area and will be back in years to come. Thank you for sharing your peaceful oasis with us!
Our stay was great! The property had all of the necessities needed for cooking. It was very clean, comfortable, and private. We walked to Cherry Beach a couple of times which was a nice option to have due to limited parking. Being right off of Red Arrow Highway is very convenient to get anyplace you would want to go. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.
This is so close to Cherry Beach (which was beautiful) and the whole cabin was clean and very cute. I saw turkeys, hummingbirds and a mama deer nursing her babies! I would definitely stay here again! (I also felt very safe in this location)
