About this property

Private Evergreen Hideaway

Escape to a private cabin retreat in Blyn, just outside Sequim—an ideal base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula, midway between Port Townsend and Port Angeles. Perfect for two, with vaulted pine ceilings, a spacious walk-in shower, full kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a peekaboo mountain view. Walk or bike to the Olympic Discovery Trail or the nearby disc golf course, then relax beneath the cedars and unwind under star-filled skies.

***

This cozy one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin is tucked among the trees in Blyn, WA—just 15 minutes east of Sequim. Accessed by a private driveway with dedicated parking, it offers a secluded retreat surrounded by natural beauty.

Towering evergreens create a peaceful 360-degree forest setting, with woodland views from every window. No other houses are visible—just trees and ferns—making it feel like a true cabin in the woods. The front windows even offer a peekaboo view of the mountains, especially lovely in fall and winter when the leaves have fallen.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, and all the essentials for cooking and dining. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed, closet with hangers, and plenty of drawers to make settling in easy.

In the bathroom you'll find a spacious tiled walk-in shower, while the living area offers a cozy couch, TV, electric fireplace, and a small desk workspace. Vaulted pine tongue-and-groove ceilings and skylights fill the cabin with natural light, creating a warm and airy atmosphere.

Wifi is provided to keep you connected if needed, though you may find the peaceful surroundings make it easy to unplug.

Other Details to Note:

– The cabin is located in a rural neighborhood on a private, gravel road. There are no street lights. The walkway up to the cabin is lit by LED solar lights at night.

– To reach the cabin, guests will walk up several gravel steps from the parking area, followed by a couple additional steps up to the front porch.

My husband and I live in the woods on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. We love building and creating, and we built both our home and this cabin with our own hands. When we’re not working on our next project, you’ll find us playing disc golf, fishing or crabbing, catching live music, or chasing adventure with our daughters.
