Our stay had both positives and negatives. The house itself was very nice, spacious, and worked well for our group, but there were several issues that impacted our experience. Upon check-in, the door code did not work. We called customer service, and the alternate code they provided also failed. We were eventually directed to use a lockbox to access the property. We were told someone would come out to repair the keypad, but that never happened during our stay. The house was also very hot the first night. The air conditioning didn't seem to cool the home initially, although it did improve over the following days. An HVAC technician came out to inspect the unit and confirmed it appeared to be working properly. It's possible the thermostat had been set too high before our arrival, and with the Texas heat, it simply took a long time for the house to cool down. The home appeared clean at first glance, but once we moved some furniture, we found dust, an empty juice box under the couch, and a pair of sandals left behind from a previous guest. The biggest concern, however, was the number of roaches. We killed several large roaches downstairs and found others upstairs in the bunk bed room. Overall, we enjoyed the size and layout of the house, but better cleaning between guests, routine pest control, and ensuring the entry system and home are ready before check-in would make a significant difference.
