The apartment was spotless and beautifully furnished and appointed. It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the alps from the balcony is fantastic. The apartment is on the third floor of the house in which the host also lives but has a separate entrance. The host was very nice and accommodating. She spoke English as well. It is in a small, quaint village. It is close driving distance to many attractions like the Untersbergs cable car, Saltswelten, Berchtesgaden as well as Salzburg. It is worth noting that payment does not get collected through VRBO and is collected in cash by the host at the end of the stay. The VRBO listing is managed by a third party agency which does not communicate with the host directly on your behalf so there are no check in instructions and if you need to speak to the host directly you must call them. That wasn’t clear to me from the listing. We would definately stay there again.

Der Blick auf die Alpen von unserem Balkon ist tatsächlich etwas ganz Besonderes, und wir sind froh, dass Sie diese Aussicht schätzen konnten. Unser Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Lage, umgeben von schöner Natur und gleichzeitig in der Nähe von vielen Ausflugszielen wie dem Untersberg oder Salzburg. Wir entschuldigen uns für etwaige Unklarheiten bezüglich der Zahlungsmodalitäten und der Kommunikation und werden uns bemühen, diese Informationen klarer zu gestalten. Es wäre schön, Sie bald wieder bei uns willkommen zu heißen!
