Hi there! We are Rob and Heather, partners in hospitality and proud East Tennessee natives who share a deep love for this region and everything that makes it special.
Rob has called the Smokies home his whole life and knows every hidden trail, local gem, and sunset spot worth knowing about. Heather is making her way back to her roots to be closer to family and bring her passion for hospitality along with her. Together we have poured that love for this place into Smoky Creek Cottage — a space that reflects everything we treasure about living here.
We are not just hosts — we are neighbors, locals, and genuine Smoky Mountain enthusiasts who want you to experience this place the way we do. Not just the attractions and the strip, but the quiet mornings by the creek, the smell of the mountains after a rain, and the warmth of a real Tennessee welcome.

We chose this neighborhood because it represents the best of both worlds — the energy and excitement of Pigeon Forge right at your fingertips, and the peace and quiet of a genuine residential neighborhood to come home to at the end of the day.
Priscilla Heights sits just off Wears Valley Road, one of the most beautiful and accessible drives in the entire Smoky Mountain region. No steep switchbacks, no white-knuckle mountain roads — just a easy, flat approach that makes coming and going a pleasure no matter the weather or the time of day. That accessibility is something we genuinely value and something our guests appreciate the moment they arrive.
What we love most about this neighborhood is the way it feels lived in and real. You are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Smokies without being deep in the backcountry, and you have wonderful neighbors who take pride in the area. The creek runs right alongside the property, the mountains frame every view, and yet you are just minutes from everything Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer.

Smoky Creek Cottage stands apart from the hundreds of cabin rentals in the Smokies in ways that are genuinely hard to find anywhere else in the area.
First and foremost — the creek. Walden Creek runs right alongside the property, and that sound of rushing water sets the tone for everything that follows. It is the kind of detail that guests mention in every single review and the reason so many come back. Most rentals in this market sit on steep mountain slopes accessible only by winding roads. We sit on a flat, fully accessible lot with no mountain roads between you and everything you came here for. That matters more than people realize until they experience it.
The fully fenced yard is another genuine rarity — especially for dog owners. Your pups can roam freely while you soak in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit, all within a private, secure space that feels like your own backyard.

Sawyer's Farmhouse Restaurant — one of the most beloved breakfast spots in the Smokies, known for made from scratch pancakes, Southern biscuits and gravy, and genuine Tennessee hospitality — is just a short stroll down Wears Valley Road. There is something about walking to breakfast on a mountain morning that just feels like vacation done right.
