At the foot of the Grünstein, in a sunny and central location in Schönau am Königssee, lies our guesthouse with 16 non-smoking holiday apartments of various sizes.
You can look forward to cosy holiday apartments furnished in a rustic country style. All holiday apartments feature a living room with satellite TV, a kitchenette with a 2-burner stove and a refrigerator (some apartments also have a separate kitchen or a larger kitchenette with an oven), 1–3 bedrooms, and a balcony. From almost all balconies, you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Three of the holiday apartments are located on the ground floor and have a separate entrance and a small terrace or outdoor seating area.
A washing machine and dryer are available to our guests in the building’s basement. Use and payment can be easily managed via an app. Additionally, this room is used as a ski and bike storage area
Enjoy your holiday in the Berchtesgaden Alpine National Park, in a friendly atmosphere with personalised service.
Through the in-house drink service, you can purchase a variety of drinks at fair prices. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Your dog is warmly welcome here and stays for free.
The comfortable 2-room holiday apartment 11 is located on the ground floor of the Landhaus Waldhauser and, with 42 m², offers a pleasant retreat for 1–2 people. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
The living area is furnished with a cosy sofa and a lovely dining area, making it ideal for relaxing evenings. The modern kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, a 2-burner hob, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and all the necessary amenities for preparing delicious meals.
The separate bedroom features a comfortable double bed and offers the perfect setting for a restful night’s sleep.
The bathroom includes a shower, sink, and toilet.
Free Wi-Fi and a TV are available. Bedding and towels are included in the price.
Services & Amenities:

For families with children, we provide a travel cot and a high chair free of charge upon request. Every child travelling with you between the ages of 5 and 12 will receive a small “welcome bag.”
For dogs travelling with you, a towel and a welcome treat are provided; a dog bed can be reserved free of charge upon request.
Each holiday rental comes with a free parking space right next to the building. In all apartments, you’ll also find informational materials about the region as well as hiking guides.
Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available.
The holiday rental is equipped with dishes, pots, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, bed linens, and towels.

The holiday rental is suitable for 1–2 people. You are welcome to bring a dog upon prior request. Other pets are not permitted.
