Our family of five, plus our two pups, had a very relaxing stay at “Lakeside Park” in Moneta. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of towels available, the kitchen had all the cooking utensils and supplies we needed, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day on the lake.When we ran out of propane while grilling, we were pleasantly surprised to find a replacement tank readily available. The outside decks had quite a bit of leaf litter that we swept off, but it did seem like a storm had passed through just before our arrival.The only downside was the dock/boat ramp. Because the lake level was low, there was a large drop from the dock to the boat. There wasn’t a lower floating dock or platform that adjusts with the water level, so getting on and off the boat was difficult, especially using the narrow elevated dock. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming back.
