DO NOT BOOK !! NO A\C!! they claimed to vrbo I turned the thermostat off. im a licensed electrician you cant just turn a thermostat off it is controlled by low voltage wires to the condensing unit outside. which was not spinning and clearly had no power. they also told vrbo I didn’t follow the troubleshooting instructions they gave me which was simply pull the thermostat off the wall plate and pop it back on. and I did and left the house and it did not work. they also told vrbo I stayed there the entire duration and wasn’t deserving of any small compensation. I did not sleep there 2/3 nights and the last night I purchased a 350 AC unit because the two supplementary wall units they had already installed (because they knew prior there condensing unit didn't work they continue to claim it randomly stopped working while I was there). they have me on camera coming in showering and leaving every night. I never spent more then 2-3 hours at a time getting dressed every time . VERY INCONSIDERATE RENTERS !!

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Absolutely horrible experience here. Please do not give your business to this host. They were missing the following items from their original listing: sectional couch in living room, hair dryer, pool table. It was extremely dirty everywhere and the following items were broken: fans, bunk bed, sink vanity, floors in pool room, and curtains. The AC also stayed above 80 the majority of the time. It occasionally got down to 74 but would climb right back up even with doors closed and fans on. We tried and tried to communicate with them but the only issue resolved was the bunk bed and they literally just wrapped bathroom rags around the top of it. They never cleaned or brought the missing items. When we asked for a refund (even a partial amount), we were denied because they claimed to have fixed the issues. We have photo evidence that it was never fixed. Absolutely terrible experience. We even had to leave the property because it got too hot so we paid twice as much this trip just to get to a more safe and clean environment.

Home was less than clean. Yard was extremely tall. Trash and the garbage cans were all in the ditch. Thermostat was locked the entire time we were there. It was bumped up to 75 at night. In the day time they would "reset the system" which still did not cool the house. Upon arriving back at the home from appointments and surgery at MD Anderson the indoor temperature was 90. My family (ages 3 to 19) was simply miserable and we were not able to get a response from our host. VRBO was extremely helpful in the matter but I would be very careful about choosing to stay at this property!
