Excellent location on the Bay and host/owner lived across the street and gave us ideas of where to go and what to see. House well equipped with great views. Property located just a few minutes drive from Baddeck Center restaurants, super market etc.

John's home right on the bay at Baddeck is such an incredible location. We could have spent our entire visit sitting on his patio in our Adirondack chairs staring at the views. Beautiful!!

this house on Baddeck Bay was exactly as described. 4 adults enjoyed this spot for 2 nights, used as a starting & end point for driving the Cabot Trail. The place was extremely clean, and the view over the bay was super! we didnt have a need to contact John during our stay, but he left his phone number and was readily available. we did have the priviledge of meeting him when we stopped in at the local bakery.The town of Baddeck is so lovely. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! If you are in town, you must stop in at the Highwheeler Cafe & Bakery! This place was so welcoming, line moves quickly. They also offer a boxed lunch for the trail which was delicious. And You must try the Peanut Butter Oatcakes!

The cottage was modern and well equipped. The view of the lake was exactly what we wanted and the windows framed it well. A great historical centre from which we did many day trips. Loved the privacy of having bedrooms on two levels yet as two couples we were able to enjoy evening of movies together.Thanks John, you are an excellent host.
