Canopy Alchemy — Two Cabins, One Property, Red River Gorge
Some groups need more than one cabin. This is built for them. Canopy 7 and Canopy 9 sit side by side on 140 private acres in Rogers, KY. Two complete, independently functional cabins available together as a private compound. Each has its own hot tub, wraparound deck, full kitchen, and loft. The fire pits are separated but the forest is shared. The rest is yours to divide however makes sense for your group.
Two distinct vibes, one property: Canopy 7 — mid-century modern, earthy tones, wall of windows facing the ridge Canopy 9 — same layout, curated pink accents throughout, the one that photographs as good as it feels
What You’ll Have 2 Complete Private Cabins — Each fully stocked and independently functional 2 Hot Tubs — One per cabin, best after dark 2 Wraparound Decks — Two sets of sunrise views, two morning coffee spots 2 Yoga Decks — Loft-level in both, mats, blocks, and foam rollers included Fire Pits & Hammock Zones — The natural gathering point for the whole group 140 Private Acres — Hardwood forest, no managed trails, freestyle exploration encouraged 1 Minute from Elderwild Event Venue — For groups celebrating something worth celebrating
The Layout — Each Cabin
Main Level — Open & Functional
Full kitchen stocked with essentials, living space built for gathering, queen bedroom with memory foam mattress, full bath with tub and shower combo, walk-in closet, in-unit laundry. Loft — Sleep, Stretch, Breathe
Floating staircase leads to two twin beds, bean bag chairs, and a dedicated yoga deck with mats, blocks, and a foam roller. Sunrise sessions with a ridgeline view are a real option — we suggest taking them. The loft sleeping area was designed with tiny home intentionality — an angled ceiling that wraps around you like a treehouse hideaway, accessed by custom Italian-imported stairs. It’s the kind of space that makes older kids and teens feel like they got the best spot in the house. (They did.) Best suited for children and younger teens rather than adults who need full standing room or very young children.
Lower Level — Stay In If You Want Record player, curated book collection, board games, Amazon Fire TV, half-bath, sliding doors to the hammock zone. Rainy days are handled. Outside — Shared by Both Cabins The fire pit is the center of gravity. Two hot tubs — one off each cabin’s deck — mean no waiting and no sharing. Hammocks, outdoor seating, and 140 acres of unfenced hardwood forest round out the rest. No managed trails, no guided routes. Wander through the trees, find the rock formations, follow the sound of water. Leave it exactly as you found it.
Remote Work-Friendly (If You Must)
High-speed fiber optic WiFi in both cabins, dedicated workspaces, and strong cell service from the ridge.

About the host
Your host
We’re Vacation Alchemist, a small, intentional hosting operation with two cabins on one property and a strong point of view about what a great stay actually requires.
The Canopy Alchemy Compound exists because the best group trips need more than a large house. They need space to come together and space to have your own. We designed Canopy 7 and Canopy 9 to deliver both. Two complete cabins that work independently or as a compound, with enough land between you and the rest of the world to actually exhale.
We’re hands-off hosts who are easy to reach. You’ll have everything you need before arrival, and we’re a text away if anything comes up. After that, the gorge is yours.
If the Canopy Alchemy Compound looks like your kind of trip, it probably is.
Why they chose this property
Why This Property?
Because most properties in Red River Gorge give you one cabin. This is two completely private, completely separate, completely yours.
Canopy Alchemy is the only setup in the gorge that gives a group of up to 8 their own private compound: two hot tubs, two kitchens, two morning views, two fire pits, and 140 acres between you and the rest of the world. Families who want to be close without being on top of each other. Friend groups who want their own cabin at night. Wedding parties with a venue one minute away. This property was built for exactly that.
The individual cabins are available separately. When you book both, you get something neither one offers alone.
