Idyllic country house not far from the beach

You’ll spend your holiday in Normandy in a traditional stone farmhouse that has been converted and newly renovated for holidaymakers. The house is located on the outskirts of Hambye on a rural property spanning over 20,000 square metres. There are several large garden areas. You’ll enjoy a beautiful, unobstructed view of the countryside as you watch the sunset to the west from your terrace in the evening. Hambye is known for its old abbey, which is located just outside the village near the Sienne River. Hambye is a typical Normandy village with all the amenities you’d expect—a small château, shopping options, an excellent bakery, a butcher shop, a pharmacy, a post office with an ATM, bars, the town hall, an primary school, a petrol station, a weekly market, and more. Everything is located in the town centre, which is just a short walk from the house. From Hambye, three larger cities—Granville, Coutances, and St. Lo—are reachable in 30 minutes or less. The D 13 country road takes you straight and comfortably to the lifeguard-patrolled beach at St. Martin de Brehal in 20 minutes. Many other interesting and beautiful places in Normandy are very easily accessible from Hambye.



The house features two spacious and bright rooms (with windows facing east at the front and west at the back), each with its own shower room. The upper room has a double bed, and the middle room has a double bed as well as a daybed, which you can use as a third bed in the room if needed. On the ground floor, you can prepare your meals in a newly furnished kitchen and enjoy views of the countryside to the west from the dining table. The sofa in the living area can be folded out into a sleeper sofa. Everything has been furnished with attention to detail; the furniture, tableware, and decor have been carefully curated.



You’ll have access to a furnished terrace with a parasol, a large gas grill for outdoor cooking, high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and a washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with a standard-size dishwasher, a refrigerator, an induction cooktop, and an oven. Bed linens and towels are provided.
