Visit the capital of the province of Zeeland, Middelburg, where you can stroll through the beautiful narrow streets and visit museums, including the Zeeuws Museum. The abbey tower of Lange Jan also stands tall, which is best climbed to admire the view of Walcheren. In the centre of the town, you will find a late Gothic town hall with a striking façade, surrounded by a market square where you can also enjoy delicious food in the restaurants and a coffee. Nearby you will also find Domburg, which is known as a healing seaside resort. If you like cycling and walking, you can cross the De Manteling nature reserve to admire the biodiversity of this forest. There is also a biological museum, Terra Maris, where you can learn all about its fauna and flora.
