It is great to hear that communication with our host was excellent. We would love for you to return soon to enjoy our five-star hospitality. - iTrip Breckenridge Team
We had a great stay at Camp Rubio. I loved that it was pet friendly since we had one dog with us. We had plenty of room to spread out and the house was very comfortable. All bedrooms were a good size, basement was huge, and the kitchen/dining/family room was a great place to gather and visit, watch tv and eat! We took a few walks around the neighborhood and did see some deer and a fox. I would recommend this property if you’re looking for a nice, reasonably priced house to stay in. We would stay there again!

Overall, had a great stay! The place was very clean and has a great kitchen with pots/pans and all other stuff needed to cook. It was quite impressive. The only issue (and mild at that) was the long-term tenant in the basement played music loud. Great communication with host got that corrected. This house is south of Breckenridge a ways, so it felt very secluded. Very peaceful area.

The house is as described. It had great space for everyone to hang out in and plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. There was so much snow..make sure you have 4-wheel drive or AWD if you go in the winter.

Erika, thank you for sharing your impression of Camp Rubio with us. We agree that Breck is a Winter Wonderland during the winter months. We are pleased you found your accommodations and location ideal for your stay, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. Thanks for reminding future guests of the importance of a four-wheel drive during winter. Please come again soon! - iTrip Breckenridge Team
My husband and dogs had a great stay. It was super clean and had all amenities. In winter do have 4WD or AWD vehicles. It snows a lot up at 11,500 feet elevation and does get plowed daily. Great WIFI. Very quiet property and SO GORGEOUS!

This place was huge for 8 adults a 2 year old and multiple pets! Very quiet and tranquil at night. Stargaze out in the hot tub. It was a perfect experience and place to be in minutes from the town proper of Breckenridge where it can get real busy. I’m glad i came across this place. Definitely will stay here again! Family approves as well.

Awesome Place - great mgt. team
This is a large beautiful pet-friendly residence in a nice neighborhood south of Breckenridge center. The layout of bedrooms and bathrooms along with the upper kitchen/living area met our needs perfectly. There is even a child/pet safety gate at top of stairs.
We were traveling during a storm and requested an early checkin which was graciously extended.
We were an older group (60+) which unfortunately suffered altitude issues. The home was supplied with multiple humidifiers which we ran constantly and did appear to assist. It took 2 full days for most of us to adjust. This was mentioned in earlier reviews but I had not had any problems when traveling before, but did on this trip.
A big shout out to iTrip Mgt! We had a minor issue which was literally addressed within minutes. I am planning another ski trip and plan to book another property through them. I rent many properties throughout the year and they have been the most attentive in years,

It was our pleasure hosting you, and we would love to welcome you back. -iTrip Breckenridge

Family fun and wildlife
Our three generation family of 11 had a wonderful week together at this house! There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us, and room to be together or in a corner by yourself to read or just be along. The kitchen in large enough to cook for all of us with ease. We loved seeing moose, deer, foxes and chipmunks in the neighborhood. It was easy to spend time in Frisco, Breckinridge, Alma and FairPlay! All in all a great rental!

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The property was spacious and the best space was the master. There was a lot of deferred maintenance and it was not well disclosed/explained that the house had a full-time tenant living in the lower level. He played loud music/tv frequently and early in the mornings/late at night. One day he was smoking weed and the smell overwhelmed the entire house. The second floor kitchen was awkward and inconvenient. I would not stay here again.

Response from VrboOwner on 8 October 2025
We addressed your disturbances promptly. We actively worked to address them to ensure a more peaceful environment for you. The listing information does refer to the home layout with the kitchen on the second floor, as well as the presence of a long-term tenant. Because we do advertise in multiple places about the long-term tenant, we have not had any guests complain about not knowing. We remain committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests. We invite our readers and future guests to enjoy reading the many 4 & 5 Star reviews and happy guests. This spacious, well-equipped vacation rental is so peaceful, dog friendly (free), spacious, and ust outside of town. The wildlife is incredible and many families have made lovely memories here! -The iTrip Breckenridge Team
Our trip to Breckenridge was fabulous! We loved this vacation rental and will book again! Our family of 6 fit perfect and would be even more perfect with a few other families! The hill (road) was the best sledding we experienced! The night time relaxing hot tub was greeting by looking up to see shooting stars! It was the perfect location! Far enough away from the lights and busy Main Street, but close enough. It was also not too far from Frisco ❤️. We loved waking up in the morning to see new tracks and it was fun to try and discover what “little” animals played around outside! Can’t wait to come back!!

Kayla, we cannot wait to host you and your family again soon! It is great to hear that Camp Rubio was the perfect vacation home for your family. We had an awesome time at camp Rubio! The house was actually bigger then we expected so we had more rooms/space then needed. The neighborhood was peaceful and a great escape from our busy lifestyle. The house is a little far out of town, food deliveries, and stores. If we planned correctly we would have done the pre grocery delivery system, I would recommend that since the grocery store is crazy busy any day. All in all, we definitely want to come back!

The house was great and had plenty of room. It sits in a beautiful neighborhood with great views. The only complaint we had was the tenant that lives on the bottom floor played his music a little loud. That being said we would love to stay there again.

Thank you for you review and we hope you come back again soon! We will make sure we inform the owners about the music and we apologize for any inconvenience :) !
Sandy and Carla were great property managers and were on top of things. Property was great. Amenities were great. Wonderful layout for a family of kids and grandkids (four little ones four years old or younger). As described, you do need a 4WD in the winter months. Elevation at approximately 11,500 feet is also something to consider before you book. My wife and I decided to rent oxygen cylinders to sleep with and it really paid off. The long-term tenant does live in a section of the lower level of the house...if they entertains, they can be heard in most places of the VRBO side of the house. Their living area does have separate ingress/egress. Inside the house, however, living areas are separated only by a single locked door.
