The waterfront setting:
Cove & Cedar is set directly on Puget Sound, with changing tide views, beachcombing, wildlife watching, and easy access to the water. Guests may launch the kayaks from the property when conditions permit. Kayaking and waterfront use depend on weather, tides, water conditions, and guest judgment.

Inside the home:
The home is set up for relaxed group stays, with 4 bedrooms, comfortable gathering spaces, upstairs and downstairs electric fireplaces, a full kitchen, coffee setup, laundry, and individually controlled room thermostats. It works well for families, couples traveling together, or a quiet getaway with friends.

Outdoor living:
Enjoy the covered hot tub with water views, outdoor grill, fire features, starter firewood logs, s’mores sticks, and outdoor games including badminton, basketball, and bocce. On clear nights, the area gets very dark, making it a great spot for stargazing. Flashlights are provided.

Good to know:
Cove & Cedar is best suited for families and quiet small groups.

For guest safety, waterfront access, kayaking, hot tub use, fire features, outdoor games, stairs, decks, and shoreline areas are used at guest’s own risk. Children must be supervised near the water, hot tub, fire features, stairs, decks, and shoreline.

The property’s covered moorage is not currently in service and we do not offer a mooring buoy at this time. There is a public boat ramp about 1/4 mile down the road/beach, which is the best launch option. It is Utsalady Point County Park.

Best Girls' Weekend!

We had an incredible stay at Cove & Cedar—an ideal setting for five friends to reconnect, relax, and recharge. The expansive water views were truly stunning and visible from all three floors. We spent most of the weekend at the house—cooking, playing games, taking long beach walks, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, which made preparing meals easy and enjoyable. We also appreciated the comfortable beds and high-quality linens—great sleep is a priority for all of us, and this place delivered. Evenings around the outdoor fire pit, making s’mores after a long soak in the hot tub, were a highlight of the trip. This was the perfect spot for a laid-back getaway, and we’re already thinking about when we can return.

Private Waterfront Home w/Panoramic Views

Our first stay at Cove & Cedar surpassed our expectations. From the stunning views and beautifully updated home to kayaking on Utsalady Bay, exploring nearby parks, visiting Camano Commons Bakery & Coffeehouse, and wandering through Matzke Fine Art Gallery & Sculpture Park, every day offered opportunities to experience the natural beauty and welcoming spirit of Camano Island. The light-filled living spaces, comfortable furnishings, and multiple decks made it easy to enjoy both sunny afternoons and cozy evenings. During our stay, we spotted whales, eagles, herons, seals, and deer right from the deck. One of our favorite moments was relaxing in the hot tub while watching the sun set over the bay. The outdoor spaces were especially inviting. Adults enjoyed gathering on the decks and around the fire pit while children played lawn games nearby, creating opportunities for everyone to relax, connect, and enjoy the waterfront setting together. Cove & Cedar strikes a wonderful balance between comfort and tranquility. Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway, a gathering of close friends, or a small family retreat, this peaceful waterfront home provides the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy island life.
