Magnificent home in idyllic setting!!!

We loved everything about this home and the beautiful surroundings. This fabulous log ‘cabin' was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. The view is jaw dropping in its beauty and serenity.

Off the grid heaven

The location was great, far enough from town to enjoy the peace and quiet of the great Maine woods, stocked with plenty of amenities to enjoy your stay and not feel the need to leave. Minus the couple of hiccups with off the grid living we were pretty happy with our stay.

What a view!

The pictures do not even do the view justice! It was fantastic. The trek down to the lake is quite extensive especially for little ones or anyone not sure footed. Once you get to the lake, you are greeted by another amazing view. The dock was perfect for our family of 4. We would certainly return again.

Beautiful

The view is amazing. The house was awesome! Was slightly disappointed that the listing said there was 2 kayaks and a canoe, however when we got there there was no canoe. We would have love to have it so that all of us could have went out on the water at the same time. This would NOT keep me from going back. The house was great. Communication was wonderful. House was super clean. We are already talking about going back. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

Off the grid on Wilson Pond

This is a lovely home on Upper Wilson Pond, about 10-15 minutes from Greenville and Moosehead Lake. It is truly off the grid! Power was supplied by solar and backup generator, and worked great. The home was clean, and it was the most peaceful and quiet setting. We loved having the kayaks and dock for fishing, swimming, and boating. The views are amazing! Internet is a little spotty in the house, but this is to be expected in a remote location. We would definitely return.

Almost perfect

The beds are comfortable. The kitchen seemed to be missing a few things. The place is spotless. The notice that early checkin was available took awhile to get. The construction and use of explosives was a little disruptive to the peace and quiet and absolute serenity of the place - well not absolute because of the intermittent construction noises. Would have liked better checkout instructions re: trash and used linens. Overall loved it and would stay again.
