Be enchanted by the fortified city of Carcassonne, which offers about the castle of the Counts of Trencavel, built in the 12th century, and 3 km of double ring walls and 52 defense towers around the old town with narrow streets, arts and crafts, restaurants and cafes. There are also many Cathar castles in the area. Excursions can go to Toulouse (95 km), Quillan (32 km), Lagrasse (60 km), Narbonne (89 km) or to the golden beaches of the Mediterranean (90 km). Do not miss Mirepoix, a great medieval town where many festivals take place. Or Foix, whose old town invites you to stroll, with its shopping streets and pretty squares adorned with café terraces.

séjour en famille 15 jours, Les Romarins Limoux

La maison a de beaux volumes, très bien située dans un petit village au calme. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? Il y a un éclairage au pourtour et dans la piscine mais vous n’y avez pas accès ( il est réservé aux propriétaires ) donc pas de piscine le soir. Le four, les grilles du barbecue et le frigo américain ( mouche morte séchée dedans + grille pour poser le verre côté glaçon ) pas propre. C’est dommage car notre séjour aurait pu être beaucoup plus plaisant avec juste quelques petits gestes supplémentaires.
