We chose Palmetto Dunes because it offers the perfect combination of beach access, recreation, and convenience on Hilton Head Island. The community is known for its beautiful beaches, award-winning golf courses, tennis and pickleball facilities, scenic bike paths, and the unique 11-mile lagoon system for kayaking and fishing.

One of the things we love most is that guests can enjoy a relaxing beach vacation without constantly needing a car. From 3 Armada Street, it's a short walk to the beach, and many of Palmetto Dunes' most popular amenities are just a bike ride away. Shelter Cove Marina, waterfront restaurants, shopping, live entertainment, and seasonal events are all nearby.

Palmetto Dunes is also ideal for families and multi-generational groups. The neighborhood is private, beautifully maintained, and offers activities for every age—from building sandcastles on the beach and biking under the live oaks to golfing, pickleball, fishing, and enjoying sunset dinners overlooking the water.

After visiting Hilton Head Island for years, we felt Palmetto Dunes offered the best overall vacation experience. It combines the natural beauty of the island with outstanding amenities, making it a place where guests return year after year to create lasting memories with family and friends.

We own and rent a 2BR 2BA oceanfront Villa at Captains Walk in Palmetto Dunes for many years already so it was a natural choice to stay in Palmetto Dunes for the next home. Additionally, Armada Street appealed to us since it is one of the view that has direct beach access without leaving the street, nor crossing any busy roads.

What makes this property unique

We chose 3 Armada Street because it offers something that is difficult to find on Hilton Head Island—a spacious luxury home close to the beach that allows families and friends to spend time together while still having plenty of room to spread out.

The location in Palmetto Dunes immediately stood out to us. We loved being just a short walk from the beach while also having easy access to golf, tennis, pickleball, biking trails, fishing lagoons, restaurants, and Shelter Cove Marina. Everything we enjoy about Hilton Head Island is nearby.

The home itself checked every box. With six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, multiple gathering areas, a private pool and spa, elevator access, and a dedicated billiard room, it is designed for family vacations, golf trips, reunions, and multi-generational gatherings. Whether guests want to spend the day at the beach, relax by the pool, bike through Palmetto Dunes, or simply enjoy time together, the home provides the space and amenities to do it comfortably.

We continue to invest in the property with updated furnishings, high-speed WiFi, beach gear, kitchen equipment, and thoughtful amenities that help make vacations easy and memorable.
