Why they chose this property

The private wood surrounded yard and private beach makes it feel like we're up in the middle of nowhere even though Milwaukee and Chicago are easily accessible.

What makes this property unique

Forest Beach Retreat is the rare combination of privacy, space, and true Lake Michigan waterfront living while still being easily accessible from Milwaukee or Chicago, you don't need to drive 6 hours up north and sacrifice Wi-Fi and cell service. Most properties sacrifice size, location, modern amenities, yard size, A/C, or privacy from neighbors. Forest Beach Retreat has it all.
The size is perfect for gatherings, reunions, event lodging etc. With two separate living areas and kitchens guests can find ample privacy and plenty of gathering space. Yet, smaller groups won't find any space wasted either.
3500 sq ft modernized home with all the amenities set on approximately two wooded acres with private shoreline access, the home feels like a secluded retreat while still being just minutes from downtown Port Washington and a stone's throw from Milwaukee or Green Bay. You can easily spend your entire trip at the property and not get bored by relaxing on the deck watching the boats go by, exploring the mile of uninterrupted sandy shoreline, campfires, stargazing, reading a book at dusk or unwinding in the hot tub.
The location also makes the property a great home base for exploring southeastern Wisconsin. Enjoy downtown Port Washington or Cedarburg, fishing and charter boats, hiking, local restaurants and breweries, or make a day trip to the renowned golf courses and many other attractions of SE WI.
