The home features two comfortable bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, full bath, washer/dryer, WiFi, Smart TV, and comfortable living spaces with warm neutral decor throughout. The enclosed porch/sunroom provides a relaxing place to unwind, read, or enjoy your morning coffee.

I am sorry but I would not recommend this place until the owners fix major issues. I am willing to forgive the yard being a little overgrown and the oven being broken, but not the countless spiders and cob webs everywhere, drains that don’t drain, main bathroom toilet leaking, the awful thick mildew smell, limited hot water, and most importantly the back door that does not actually lock.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. During your stay, the only concern brought to my attention was the oven. As soon as I was notified, I worked to troubleshoot the problem and arranged for a countertop air fryer/oven to be delivered the same day so you would have a functioning cooking appliance while awaiting replacement of the full-size oven. A full-size oven has since been installed. The additional concerns mentioned in this review were not reported during your stay, so I was not given the opportunity to address them. I encourage all guests to contact me immediately if something is not right, as I genuinely want the opportunity to resolve concerns while they are still enjoying their visit. After your departure, the property was thoroughly inspected. The kitchen sink was found to be draining slowly because the garbage disposal simply needed its reset button pressed. The toilet was not leaking, and the back door was found to close and lock properly. As a cottage in a wooded waterfront community, occasional spiders and insects are an unavoidable part of the Chesapeake Bay environment, particularly during periods of warm, rainy weather, despite regular cleaning and maintenance. I appreciate all guest feedback and remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable cottage and responsive service to every guest.
