Delightful experience. Easy check-in, with very explicit instructions. Gorgeous cozy place with fully stocked kitchen. Very comfy beds. Sparkling clean. The fireplace was a wonderful bonus feature. Great location, with lots of shops and food nearby, and easy access to highways for trips into "town." We had no trouble finding a parking spot right out front (except one night when we got back quite late, then we only had to park around the corner). Fast and pleasant response from host to questions. Highly recommended and I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Hi and welcome to the Hen House! My husband, Chris, and I are happy to host your next stay! I am an emergency department nurse and Chris is a paramedic with the Chicago Fire Department. We live in the neighborhood and absolutely love that Bridgeport has to offer!

Why they chose this property

We love that the Hen House is a short walk to Chicago White Sox field and the adjacent bars/restaurants. If you are a beach lover, 31st beach is a short 10 min uber ride as well as the harbor. We own a Charter business out of 31st harbor and can offer 15% discount on 4 hour boat rides for those staying more than 2 nights.
