About this property

Cross Lake Craftsman- Lakefront W/Pier & Slip

MPC- 260085 - This Craftsman on Cross Lake is a private 3 acre lakefront escape where Craftsman charm meets modern comfort. Soak in amazing water views, fish or dock your boat at your private pier, unwind on large decks, gather around the fire pit, and the lower-level is the perfect hangout furnished as a game room. Walk to Orlandeaux’s restaurant, and only 6 mins to the launch & Yacht Club. This home is perfect for unforgettable fishing trips, family adventures, or serene waterfront work-from-home retreats.

The space
Welcome to your private lakefront escape on Cross Lake — where rustic charm meets modern comfort on 2.5+ fully fenced acres of waterfront peace.

From the moment you walk up, the views take center stage.

The expansive primary suite is a retreat of its own, featuring a plush king bed, cozy sitting area, and oversized picture window overlooking the water. Step directly onto the deck from your private entrance and enjoy quiet mornings with coffee or peaceful evenings under the stars. The updated ensuite bath offers a spacious walk-in shower with both a built-in shower head and adjustable handheld for a spa-like experience, and a separate tub for soaking in a hot, relaxing bath.

Just down the hall, bedroom 2 offers a comfortable queen bed and two twin beds tucked conveniently in the heart of the home. Each bed dressed in soft linens to help everyone unwind and feel at home. This room has a private entrance to the sun room, main corridor, and living room.

The fully remodeled kitchen is stocked and ready for everything from simple breakfasts to family dinners. Enjoy meals indoors in the spacious dining area overlooking the lake, or carry your plate outside to the oversized deck and soak in the view. Whether you're grilling, gathering, or simply relaxing, this home was designed for connection.

Need to work while you're away? We offer multiple dedicated workspaces with full-size desks and high-speed Wi-Fi to make remote work, homeschooling, or creative projects easy and comfortable.

The sunroom may quickly become your favorite spot! Surrounded by windows and flooded with natural light, it offers unreal views of the lake and private dock. Stretch out with a book, host family game night, or pull out the comfy sleeper and wake up to water views just steps away.

And then… there’s the fun.

Step outside and down the stairs from the main entry to discover a tucked away game room we named “The Lair” that feels straight out of an adventure movie. Inside you’ll find foosball, ping pong, a mini wet-bar area, a flat screen for gaming or movie night, and plenty of seating with a futon that converts into a private sleeping space; positioned below the main level to help keep late-night fun from disturbing the rest of the house. There’s even a secret fort beneath the fireplace that’s guaranteed to spark imagination (yes, it feels a little like The Goonies). Parents will appreciate the separate exterior entrance.

Outside is where this property truly shines.

Multiple private decks and porches provide space to spread out, relax, and take in panoramic water views. There is a private shower off the large back deck for those long days spent on the lake. There’s a massive sitting area and fire pit down the stairs somewhat hidden from the main house nestled under the large oak trees to enjoy the shade during the day. If a cozy fire at night is more your style, it is perfect for storytelling and s’mores. Don’t forget the firewood, s’mores, and the bug spray. The dock boasts an upper deck ideal for private sunbathing, and your very own private pier with boat slip. Bring your boat or fish straight from the dock. If you’re lucky enough to visit during the Cross Lake Floatilla or the American Legion fireworks show, you’ll have a front-row seat without ever leaving home.

Location is just as convenient as it is scenic:
• 6 minutes to the public boat launch
• Minutes to Shreveport Yacht Club & Municipal Pier
• Close to Ford Park Disc Golf Course
• Walking distance to local favorite Orlandeaux’s Café
• 10 minute drive to grocery stores or Wal-Mart

Inside, you’ll also enjoy Smart TVs for streaming (just remember to log out), front-loading washer and dryer, complimentary drip coffee, bottled water, snacks, and thoughtful touches throughout.

Whether you're here to fish, boat, explore Shreveport, work remotely, or simply rest and reconnect, this lakefront retreat offers privacy, comfort, and a little bit of adventure.

We’d be honored to host your stay on Cross Lake.

Guest access
The entire home and property is yours to use and enjoy with the exception of an owners closet and a few private cabinets. The waterfront/dock is only accessible with a signed waiver signed after booking.

Other things to note
The home is privately set back behind a gate at the end of a long driveway offering both seclusion and security.

There is ample on-site parking for 2–4 vehicles. Boat trailers are welcome; however, if trailers are attached, creative positioning may be required to allow adequate turnaround space.

There is no driving or parking of any vehicles or trailers on the grass.

Please note that the main living areas of the home are elevated and accessible by stairs only. There is no elevator on the property. Guests with mobility limitations may find the layout challenging. There is a sidewalk along the lake side of the home that meets up with a ramp onto the deck.

For the comfort of guests with sensitivities, this is a strictly pet-free home. No pets have been allowed inside, as we strive to maintain a clean, allergy-conscious environment.

Exterior security cameras are in place and positioned to monitor outdoor areas only, including the driveway and entry points, for the safety of our guests and the property. There are no cameras inside the home.

We had a great stay at the Cross Lake Craftsman! Our family of 6 was in town visiting, and it was an option for play, comfort and location to town. Jeremy was a great communicator, the house was *the cleanest* VRBO I’ve ever stayed in, and we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommend this beautiful home directly on the cross lakes water (and I liked how it was fenced at the street for safety and on the sides- the lake portion is open, so bring life vests for the littles). Five stars all around!

This vacation was to do nothing and relax. The views for the glassed porch and patio were peaceful and relaxing. The dock was perfect for fishing and swinging on the swing to watch the water. The entire home was fabulous. We'll be back with friends for another stay.
