Great cabin just off the highway that feels like it's in a much more rural area. My family loved playing on the foosball table and enjoyed eating our breakfasts in the spacious kitchen. This would be a great place for larger groups too.

What a beautiful log cabin with lots of room! Nice quiet area... We saw deer out in the field several times. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed sitting on one of two porches listening to the birds as well as playing foosball, All bedrooms were upstairs...so be aware if anyone in your group has mobility issues. A

The location of the property was very convenient. We were visiting the Monticello Wine Trail. The property is a nice property. We had an issue with checking in - we were provided the wrong code and had to reach out to get resolved. The instructions for checking in should be more explicit on process, i.e. press Schlage button, then code, etc. We were surprised to find out the morning of checking in that there were apartments located below us. We don't recall seeing mention of this when we booked the property. This should be disclosed. A number of items of note: there was no firewood for the fire pit or fireplace - would have been nice to have been told in advance that we have to supply our own. The grill is very outdated; it is a charcoal grill that hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Again, would have been nice to know we would have to supply charcoal for the grill. The property was "clean" for the most part, however, the property needs a good cleaning - looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. Note, the master bathroom trickles - not sure if this will impact the water source. We had to shut off the air conditioning unit in the one bedroom - top of stairs to the left - ran so loud, could not sleep. Fan in master bedroom did not work - bedroom was very hot. Overall, nice property, location and layout, just has a number of negatives. The cleaning lady was very helpful with helping us check in.
