This peaceful 4 bedroom waterfront home is the perfect Maine getaway. Spend your days hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, or fishing from your own private dock. This is a beautiful place to relax by the water. There is no public access to this serene lake. You can unwind at night with sunset views, sitting by the fire pit, listening to the loons, and enjoying the quiet lakeside evenings.
Details: Walk in to a dining room and family room overlooking the lake with a wood burning stove and full kitchen. To the side is a large living room with wood burning stove and magnificent picture window.
Also on the main floor is the primary bedroom with King sized bed, large window overlooking sunsets on the lake, large screen TV, and primary bathroom with tub, shower, and two sinks. There is a convenient washer/dryer included. We love sleeping with the windows open and listening to the loons!
The main floor has another full bathroom with a shower and tub just off the stairs.
There is both heating and air conditioning on the main floor with a temperature programmable mini split in the dining room and a wall AC unit in the master bedroom. These are capable of cooling the entire first floor nicely. For the occasional cold night, there is baseboard heat.
Take the stairs up to 3 cozy bedrooms. One has a queen bed and TV with plenty of space for an air mattress or crib beside it. The other two overlook the lake and are warm and inviting with double beds. All 3 upstairs bedrooms have their own mini splits for AC/heat with individual temperature control.
No need to bring your own linens - we have plenty of bath and beach towels and bed linens.
Off the main floor is a large deck overlooking the lake with table, 6 chairs, a propane grill, 2 rocking chairs, and a bar height table with 3 chairs.
Waterfront & Outdoor Features You'll have a wide private waterfront and your own dock. Enjoy easy access to the lake for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, or simply relaxing by the water. We have 2 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddleboards for your use, plus a paddleboat that seats 4, and a bike for rides around the Lakes Region. Thomas Pond is known for its peaceful atmosphere and clean water, making it ideal for a quieter Maine lake experience. Bring your coffee down to the waterfront in the morning or enjoy evening sunsets after a day on the lake.
